I've never understood this stupidity, yet so many of them do it.
They equate God/Jesus/whatever with your lover/spouse/etc loving you.
When there is no dispute about the existence of the
lover/spouse/fiance/etc. Or of the emotion love.
The correct thing to do is to demonstrate the existence of their god
to the same level of confidence as the lover.
Lovers are know to exist. As are diamonds. As is love.
Do they honestly imagine they are fooling anybody but themselves?
Remember Jody Foster in Contact, being asked to prove her father loved
her, when all she had said was that she was an atheist and didn't
believe in deity?
You could feel her frustration, especially when the religious loonies
were selecting the person to travel in the alien invention.

My lover happens to be a husband of many, many years and He said what he
meant and he meant what he said, when he told me that he loved me, and took
those vows, and I the same. There is very few loves that can stand up under
the pressures of todays world, but My husband's love can and most of all,

am now listening to the beautiful sound of the birds singing outside, as day
begins to break and I can hear God in their lovely voices. Have you ever
had something happen in your life, that was so astounding, that you didn't
know where or how it happened? Did you ever have something wonderful happen
to you and you knew that you didn't do it and no one else did, but it
happened? Did you ever look at a butterfly and think it was so pretty that
you could almost hear the sound of it's wings, fluttering in the air? Did

know... 99.99999% of people who get fevers have them break sooner or

you ever feel you mother and father's love? I have!!! Did you ever see a
newborn baby and know that we planted the seed, but just because we planted
the seed, there has to be a creation besides that seed, because we did not
make that child, only God can do that.

What a moron... reproduction is a MIRACLE... so what do you call it
when your god creates a horribly disfigured and retarded baby with
it's hand coming out of it's head and part of a twin emerging from
it's back... a miracle? Or is THAT just a 'test' for the parents?

Can you figure our trying to make
that small being and can you figure out how to have it born into this world
the way the plan is laid out? My youngest son had both hands covered with
warts, as a small child. He hated the looks and feel of them. We were
riding along in our car and I was rubbing his little hands and He said,
"Mama, I hate these ugly warts." I told him that he should just ask Jesus to
take them off. About three or four days later, we were talking about God
and He said to me, "Mom, look at my hands." Well, even though I had seen
many miracles and things that God does for us throughout our lives, I was
amazed. The warts were gone!! I didn't do it, the devil didn't do it, His
dad didn't do it, the world didn't do it. God did it.

Do you still sacrifice virgins? I mean... did you know that if you
throw a virgin into a volcano, 80% of the time that appeases the
volcano god and the rumbling stops within the year and magma doesn't
destroy the village?

circumstance, and I am sure that the adoptive, must have wanted you or they
wouldn't have adopted. So, it is obvious that God placed them there to

school at the age of 17, and just shortly thereafter I was married, and then
shortly after that I had my first child. I actually grew up with my four

give up her child, I do not understand. I believe, if you make your bed,
you lie in it. If 18 year olds were a little more responsible and believed
and turned to God, They would not have near the struggles that they are
having.

in the devestation, turned to God and called out to him. A desperation

More curious than anything else. I wasn't raised in a religion, but, of
course, was curious and wanted to see what the big deal was. So, I studied
several different religions running the gamut from christianity to judiasm
to several pagan religions to buddhism, etc. (Don't have a heart attack - I
have read the bible) All interesting, in their own way, but without
evidence, not to be taken seriously. One evening I had a long talk with
"god" and asked for a sign and all that rot. Nothing happened. So, I could
only conclude that it was the crock of hooey I'd always thought it was.

Yes, I sure do believe that we came from Adam and Eve. That is what God's
word tells us and I believe every paragraph, every sentence and every word
that is written therein.

Do you believe that saying "Avada Kedavra," while pointing a stick at

Do you realize that your GOD � listed out birds NOT to eat... and
one of those birds is a BAD.
Sounds as if your god is more of an uneducated, primative Goat Herder
than the creator of everything... At least He'd know that bats
weren't birds.
