Atheism, christianity and science - allied against Nature |
Atheism examines nature's corpse: nature as information, nature as
means to an end, nature as plaything, to be visited, viewed, wooed,
stalked, netted and reaped... For anything in nature that is of meaning
beyond its mass, substance and volume, atheism discards. Atheism's
stand against nature rivals science's and christianity's own.

What is it that troubles you so about atheism? Are you of the mind that
atheists have no 'soul'. Well you're right. We have none. Their is nothing
'supernatural' within us. We possess an outstanding set of moral principals
and a decent and well-developed 'inner self' (among other noble things) that
is second to none. How's *that* for being 'un-Godly'?
As for nature: One of the few times you will ever see *this* atheist
actually cry is when I see nature being savaged and animals needlessly, and
mercilessly put to death. Call me a 'softie' if you must.

Right. So no soul. But then I don't know what you mean by soul. What
about consciousness? did you have some evidence for it?

atheist is.
Atheism does not examine anything. Get this through that stone between
your ears will ya.
Atheism is nothing more then a state of being, to wit, being with out
theism.
A naturalist examines nature, be they atheist or theist does not matter.
Just as an astronomer examines space, be they theist or atheist. A
biologist examines biology, and that person too could be a theist or an
atheist.
You on the other hand still need to learn what atheism is. It really is
a very simple concept, one that most people with more then half a brain
can figure out.

Not according to your silly assertion above.
"Atheism's stand against nature rivals science's and christianity's own."
Atheism has nothing to do with this statement, neither does
Christianity, or Islam, or Hinduism, none of them.
Science is the only thing that can take a stand on nature, since that is
the job of science.
And currently, science just can't seem to find any objective evidence to
support the silly notion of gods. In nature or anywhere else for that
matter, except in the minds of the deluded believers.

OK, I'll explain this once more nicely: atheism is the absence of
theism. Nothing else. It has no tenets of any kind, and implies no
other philosophical, moral, or political positions. It offers no means
of "exploring nature", or of doing anything else, it's simply the
absence of belief in deities.
Please re-read the above a few times until it sinks in; your lack of
comprehension is really becoming tedious.

Your allusions to mental health were spot on. I have always said that
any attributions to anyone of a mental nature, or mental diagnosis, are
always patronising, and never reflect a purely medical interest.

May I ask, out of curiosity, what your diagnosis is? At this point
it's quite clear that your interest in the matter is personal.
