Atheist Donates Billions To Battle Global Warming |
Another example of a godless heathen (according to celebatheists.com)
showing contempt and hatred for the everything, just like Pastor Frank
says we all do.
Branson Donates Billions To Battle Global Warming
British tycoon Sir Richard Branson is to donate circa $4.3 billion to
fight climate change. The Virgin boss yesterday confirmed he plans to
divert all profits from the company's air and train businesses over the
next decade towards finding alternative energy methods to coal and oil.
Speaking to an audience, including former President Bill Clinton, at a
Global Initiative summit in New York, he said, "Our generation has
inherited an incredibly beautiful world from our parents, and they from
their parents. We must not be the generation responsible for
irreversibly damaging the environment."
Darned atheists, trying to make the world a better place for all...

Great to hear he is atheist, though I'm not surprised. He's also

Well, it sounds kind of like he's going to divert billions to research to
find alternative energy sources.
If he finds some, I'll bet he'll charge us for the power they produce.

I agree. I don't care if his long term goal is to make money, which
may not even be the case. In the short term there are a million things
he could do to line his pockets with a capital of $4bn. That he's opted
to fund research of this nature instead is fantastic.

Agreed. It's a worthy venture, which could do the world a lot of good.

Did you ever see his 'Apprentice' wannabe show? While Donald Trump was
glowering from behind a desk and being intolerably pompous over on
another channel, Richard Branson was doing things like loading his
victims onboard a 'vomit comet' flight to experience free-fall.
Branson's long term goal is to have as much fun with his life as humanly
possible. Making shitloads of money is just a means to that end for him.
He is unbearably cool.

I remember hearing about it. The winner was made a president or VP of
one of his holdings, right?
Branson's long term goal is to have as much fun with his life as humanly
possible. Making shitloads of money is just a means to that end for him.

I've always thought he was a bit of a jerk based on some interviews
I'd seen. Now I think he may be annoying, but he definitely has his
good points.
