Atheist hates Christians that help. |
Then I thought to myself that when this is all said and done, people
like her are going to look back and remember who came and helped, who
were the ones that rolled up their sleeves, did the work and gave
freely.

No she choose where to get help and put herselves in the hands of the
wrong people. You have to know somebody needs help remember before
you can offer it. Do you not have social workers in your country to
monitor and help people with problems, to try and ensure these things
do not happen? Here if a neighbours see a parent with problems such
as they affect their children they will telephone social services who
will carefully investigate and suggest appropriate aid and assistance
to solve the problem. The priority of course is always the welfare of
dependant children.
How much help did you offer to the victims of the recent earthquake
in Pakistan? We contribute to VSO (Voluntary Services Overseas) the
largest non-religious non-government charity in the world, though
personally I prefer better organised and coordinated aid by
governments through taxes. Aid from those who can afford it given
to those that need it not because it gives me brownie points with
somefake god and helps promote religion.

What would Michael Moore do?
Don't know? Then let me tell you. What he would do is get on with it,
not remark on anybody else's beliefs and just behave like a decent
human being. He might think, but he would not say that he's doing it
because he's a good Catholic, you are living evidence he'd be doing it
despite that.

That was an comment from an actual event.

There are still no atheist organizations helping out, from what I can figure
out.
Atheism is bad for America.

There isn't any clarinetists organisation either, does that mean that
no musician has helped?
Nor any "glass-wearing people association" either, does that mean that
only people with perfect eyesight have helped? I still haven't seen
"brown-haired people" association either...
You're a moron, Duke. You're bad for mankind.

So was my response, and I already alerted you to the event concerned.
The point is that even most Christians just get on with doing the
right thing, and that Moore's efforts are, to your way of thinking,
atheistic efforts because he doesn't bang on about being a Christian
as if it made him a better person, because even though he is a devout
Catholic, he knows it doesn't.

Even if this is true, so what. Plenty of atheists such as myself
donated money to religiously neutral orginzations like the Red Cross.
Atheism is bad for America.
It's religious bigotry like yours that's bad.
