atheists fear God, pt 2 |
How many things do you dismiss without comments? The Supreme Court
does it all the time. You see something on tv that you don't like.
What do you do...throw a fit, write a letter to the tv station and
program creator? Likely, you simply change the channel. What about
people you don't like? Do you seek out people you don't like to tell
them you dislike them? Likely, you just don't go near them.
Considering this, why do you think atheists spend so much time arguing
against God. If they dismissed religion as being true, they should
just drop it and find other ways to fulfill their life. Is that what
happens? No. They spend all day..all night..all the time to find
religious people to rebuke. They look for arguements to say there is
no God. Why is it that they cannot just let it go? The reason is that
they fear that their might actually be a God. They feel the Holy
Spirit's conviction and know there is a God. The fear of God is what
drives them to argue against God. There is no other excuse.

Why don't you make up your mind? First you say they fear there might
actually be a god, they you say they feel the holy spirit's conviction and
know there is a God. First they fear, then they know.
Are you saying that you have to fear before you know??
Or is your header just a ploy so you can continue to flog your website.
Don't you find it rather strange that religionists have the right to convert
pagans, heathens, and other religions, evangelize all they want, yet, when
an atheist contradicts something you say, then he must believe in your crap.
Your logic is really quite a leap.
But what is logic, when the idea of the post is to flog your web site.

many lies about us. Of course, I realize that your bible says it's
okay to lie, as long as you gain a convert, but that is dishonest. If
you accept this and act upon it, you are dishonest. So, don't try to
turn this around on us in our own newsgroup. We already know
that you lie,

it, no argument. He has been 'called' by this god thing in his head so
he must be perfect and blessed with divine wisdom and the powers

I have no fear of your imaginary god because he is a figment of your
imagination.
He doesn't exist. I have been contending this for about 65 years and your
god
has done NOTHING to punish or stop me.
There are two sound reasons why atheists offer evidence there is no god.
1. Atheists are constantly harassed by laws and religious types that try to
impose their religious beliefs and practices on others. ( Like you! ) It's
the same reason
we oppose, dishonest con men and vicious and dangerous dictatorships.
2. As human beings we like to help others to live full and happy lives
unencumbered by religious fears. It's the same reason we give directions to
those who are lost and food to those who are hungry.

it consists of a bunch of like-minded people discussing a puzzling
phemomenon known as religion. We are trying to figure out why people choose
to worship god(s). It is unintelligent idiots like you who come into this
newsgroup to attack us instead of engaging in a rational conversation.

Why do xians spend their lives attacking people who don't believe in
their imaginary god? Why do xians spend their time and money trying to
force their religious fantasies into the laws of this country? Why do
xians try to force their creation mythology into our schools as part of a
science curriculum? Why do xians think that prayers, pledge of
allegiance to a nation "under god", and other forms of childhood
indoctrination belong in our schools? Why do xians think that some
people deserve less freedom than them and try to restrict the lifestyles
and activities of people with different sexual orientations than the
bible approves of?
That is why I speak out against religion!
