Object: atheists love to waste their time
Atheists love to waste their time. Every day, atheists love to spend
their time posting on Christian groups about how God doesn't exist.
Let me ask you, have you ever seen a Christian agree with them? Have
you ever heard someone say, "You know what...I never thought about it
that way. I disbelieve in God." No. Christians continue believing in
Christianity (maybe moreso with atheist opponents). Atheists, who came
to these groups with their mind made up, continue to doubt God. So, no
one changes their mind. Yet, atheists spend all the years of their
existence (since they don't believe in heaven) arguing futile
arguements in groups that few go to. Wow. What a dreary life.
Christians need not wish to get back at atheists, their own life is
punishment enough.

You don't come here with an open mind, only looking for an atheist
support group.

So? What did you expect? in alt.atheism?

Also, your list of "believers" is weak. Most were only theists or
agnostics to start with, and the few Christians you list were
obviously looking to disbelieve, since they came to alt.atheism to
start with (because no atheist goes out preaching atheism to other
groups...right?)

I would never give the topic a moment's thought if we didn't have
idiots cross-posting to alt.atheism trying to convert us.

Are you really this stupid, or are you just pretending?

Liar, as far as I'm aware none of the atheists here intentionally post
on xtian groups; if they do, it is through fundie cross-posting.

Years of brainwashing are difficult to shake off.

Liar, atheists do not go to those groups - see above.

That at least is true, Christians own life is punishment enough. How
horrible to have your worldview constrained by delusions all your

Several times I've followed threads into
alt.religion.christian.roman-catholic, but, once
there, I found myself spending most of my time
arguing with people who weren't Catholic.
Some pretended they were (yet revealed little
working knowledge of Catholics), while others
didn't even lie about it.
Some were atheists.
The so-called "Christians" are themselves the
least tolerant of competing sects.
Think of it: America has never been dominated
by atheists, but America has always experienced
religious "discrimination."
Most of New England, for example, was settled
by people escaping the repression of the Puritans.
Many a Quaker left their religion at the end of a
hangman's rope.
One documentary I saw showed the documents
from a Washington area employment agency around
WWII. It pretty much just listed the names of the
women they had available, along with their
religion. Heaven forbid anyone should hire someone
of the "Wrong" faith!

That pretty well puts the blame where it belongs, with you.

You are a rude, inconsiderate *****. If you represent Christianity,

God has a monitor? Excellent! Is it a flat screen? How big? I see God
as more of a 17 inch monitor guy, cause I'm quite sure he doesn't need
glasses....what sort of system is he running? You reckon God's a Mac
type of deity? Nah, probably *nix geek, I think.

Which beta version is out now? God 2005? Or is that God 5.1.2?

existence (since they don't believe in heaven) arguing futile
arguements in groups that few go to. Wow. What a dreary life.
Christians need not wish to get back at atheists, their own life is
punishment enough.

So why did you cross-post this to alt.atheism? And why have you made
a dozen or so similar postings to atheist newsgroups in the last few
months? Is someone trying to reinforce his lame beliefs?

It would appear that you are the one wasting your time. Unless, of
course, convincing a large number of people that you're an utter
imbecile was your intent all along.

K.C., you indignant liar, next time check the headers before you tell
lies about atheists. I for one read alt.atheism exclusively. The only
time my name appears in a thread in a christer group is when the parent
poster (you in this case) has crossposted to alt.atheism.
Why do you do that? Do you want to start a flame war? Are you a stinky
slimy troll? It's like I'm standing in a public place, having a friendly
conversation with my atheist friends, then you barge into the group
frothing at the mouth and telling lies about something you obviously know
nothing about. What would you do in that case? Do you not think we have
the right to rebuke your foolish claims, just to show you that there is a
contrary opinion to your christian splatter?
Wise up, jerk.
