atheists love to waste their time |
Atheists love to waste their time. Every day, atheists love to spend
their time posting on Christian groups about how God doesn't exist.
Let me ask you, have you ever seen a Christian agree with them? Have
you ever heard someone say, "You know what...I never thought about it
that way. I disbelieve in God." No. Christians continue believing in
Christianity (maybe moreso with atheist opponents). Atheists, who came
to these groups with their mind made up, continue to doubt God. So, no
one changes their mind. Yet, atheists spend all the years of their
existence (since they don't believe in heaven) arguing futile
arguements in groups that few go to. Wow. What a dreary life.
Christians need not wish to get back at atheists, their own life is
punishment enough.

The argument that everything had a Creator because it's too complicated, is
about as reasonable as saying that it couldn't have been created since it's
too complicated.
It's about like saying that a super flea created a dog. Then
the good fleas go to a great dog in the sky, while the bad unbelieving fleas
are scratched off into a super rug to be forever hungry. If you think dogs
weren't created by a Great Flea then you are an afleaist.

studying science
and why religions are the opiate of the mind. Then you might experience real
freedom.
Freedom from wasted hours in church and prayer to imaginary Gods. Freedom
from the fear
of death and eternal hell.

When are you going to stop crying and stand up for yourself? You start these
threads, then either don't contribute to them, or you get off on a sob story
about how mis-treated you are.
If you can defend your faith (without quoting from a 2,000 year old book),
then jump up to the plate. Otherwise, maybe they need some floors cleaned at
your church, or the lawn mowed, or... SOMETHING to keep you busy.
When it comes to Fairy Tales -vs- Facts, you will never win, so why get
yourself beat-up when you can be doing something constructive.

Why? Alt.atheism is *our* group. That's all the legitimacy we need.
For the same reason, if an atheist crossposts to a Christian group, then
the subscribers to that group have a legitimate gripe, too. They should
flame, ignore, or report the OP as they see fit.
Equality...you know. If they are entitled, so are
Christians.
Except most crossposts to a.a. are started by Christians, and I rarely
see other Christians telling the crossposter to knock it off. You've
started several crossposted threads in the past day or two; how many
Christians have rebuked you?

Further, Family Man is another example of one cross posting atheism to
Christian groups. Will this group rebuke him for that action as well?

If an atheist cross posts to a religious group with an anti religious
argument or position and also bitches about religious people doing the
same in the atheist group, I have no problem criticizing him for his
hypocrisy.
Your arguments are welcome in alt.atheism. Preaching your religion or
bitching about atheists arguing in your favorite newsgroup are not
welcome.
