Atheists protest at Moore rally |
Article published Aug 16, 2003

monument in the rotunda of the state judicial building.

From the article:
---------------------------------------------------------
"Falwell, his deep preacher's voice carrying to the back of the crowd, said
Moore is right to defy Thompson's order if he believes he is obeying God.
"Civil disobedience is the right of all men when we believe breaking man's
law is needed to preserve God's law," Falwell said.
----------------------------------------------------------
There are plenty of Muslims and Mormans who think God's law allows polygamy;
there are plenty of fundamentalist christian reconstructionists who think
God wants them to stone adulterers, Wiccans, gays, sabbath breakers, etc. to
death. I wonder if Fartwell encourages them (and others) to civil
disobedience . . .
Probably not . . .

Not to mention the 19 Muslims who thought God's law allowed them to crash
planes into buildings full of 'heathens'. I'm sure Captain Homophobe
endorses their 'civil disobedience'.

<Sigh>
Okay, let's run through it once more: the strong-smelling liquid in the
little glass jar is Shinola.
