Attention Australian TV Viewers |
Tonight on SBS (12:00 in Qld..check your TV guides) they are repeating the
first part of "The Land Of Sex And Sinners", a documentary about how Ireland
went from a peaceful, matriarchal pagan society into....well....Ireland,
after the introduction of Christianity! The last 1500 years of history in
land of the shamrock is the clearest indication of the terrible cancerous
effect that religion, in particular Christianity has had on this world!
Don't miss it...and don't forget to watch the second part next week!
Also don't miss channel 9's "Sunday" this weekend, where they will have a
feature story about the influence the fundamentalist Pentecostal "Hillsong"
church has over Australian politicians....it looks quite frightening how
close to the influence the fundies have in the US, despite Australia only
have a tiny fraction the amount of religious fanatics! I think it will
explain why our civil rights are being slashed away every day!

Well I'm a fucking idiot, aren't I! That all was on LAST NIGHT!! Looked at
the wrong day of the TV guide, didn't I! Well I guess for those of you who
have a VCR with at time machine built in, it will still be useful
information...otherwise you missed it!
