Sure. I make no claims. That's a brute fact.
My atheism has nothing to do with "god" or "gods" or "jesus" or
"brahama."
It's simply that when you tell me about these things, I don't
believe you. They're odd stories; that you take them so seriously makes
me believe that either there's something wrong with you that you believe
them so seriously, or there's something wrong with me that I don't see
why I should believe them.
Why should I believe your story?

Liar.
An atheist is somebody who isn't theist.
Stop pretending this is too difficult to understand.
Learn to think outside the box, in the real world outside your
religion. Where your deity is merely one of thousands of different
deity-BELIEFs.
MERELY YOUR RELIGIOUS BELIEF.
"God" is part of your virtual reality.
In the real world saying there's no God is no different than saying
there are no fairies at the bottom of the garden.
It's not a claim. We're talking about fairy stories, myths and legends
etc.
You only imagine it's a claim because you believe in the fairies at
the bottom of the garden. Or was it God? Whatever.
Theism does. You are
expected to prove those claims or be considered deluded or wicked.
Atheism has shown me no proof of their stance.
Pretends the dishonest bigot who is too stupid to understand that
atheist/atheism doesn't mean the lies his church has told him about
us.
Who hasn't the courtesy to let us have the position we actually do,
and refuses to listen when he is corrected.
In short, he's a typical delude, in-your-face nasty, brainwashed

Nice, now wait for the inevitable "nooo, you should interpret those
lines differently" excuses. When the words themselves don't provide
enough escape, there is always the moving target of interpretation.
I hypothesize that only those people who interpret the bible literally
may call themselves real Christians. The others are just soft-hearted
people who use a religion's holy book to try to rationalize their
humanistic outlook even though every page conflicts with what they say
they believe.
I don't mean the above too seriously, but it is obvious that even those
who follow that religion aren't sure who is and who isn't a real
follower.

Talence

No, an atheist claims to see no reason to believe there is a god. Quite
a different thing. Just and hearing a man say he has not eaten spagetti
tells you nothing about what he *has* eaten, hearing a many say he does
not believe there is a god tells you nothing about what he *does*
believe. He may believe that no god can exist, or he may not know what
the word means.

Atheism claims there is no God.
We do not claim there is no God.
Psalms 14:1 The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. They are
corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is none that doeth

This is a mistranslation.
Nabal and his kind hath said "no to God." They are corrupt, they have
done abominable works, and there is none that doeth good.
No reference to "atheists." Since atheists are not corrpt, they do not
do abominable works, and we "doeth" lots of good, this is obviously not
what the psalmist was referring to.
No, the psalmist was referring to Nabal and his kind who refused David
and, in turn, refused God.
Check out 1 Samuel 25 for more info.
Also "There is" does not appear in the original Hebrew text. In fact,
in context, those that are "fools" say "no to God," not "no god."
Psalms 53:1 The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. Corrupt
are they, and have done abominable iniquity: there is none that doeth
good.
See above.

do abominable works, and we "doeth" lots of good, this is obviously not
what the psalmist was referring to.
Corrupt
are they, and have done abominable iniquity: there is none that doeth
good.
The sanctimonious nastiness of the stupid theist: they can't get our
position right, the thoughts are theirs whererever they got the words
from, they don't care that the wholly babble is worthless to people
outside their religion but they talk at us as though it were
authoritative, etc.
See above.

To be fair, you can't prove a negative so it's a non starter trying to
prove atheism.

You can, but it's only done in specific cases.

You mean for location propositions like, 'There is a can of beer in the
fridge' (falsifiable), not existential propositions like, 'There might be an
invisible deity' (not falsifiable, therefore metaphysical, as Popper points
out)?

Specific versions of gods can occasionally be proven not to exist by
reason of being self-contradictory. But unless the version is
sufficiently specific, that does not work.

But there's nothing to prove - we're simply people who aren't theist.
That's all.
They have to take our word for it, that this actually describes us.
The vast majority of their attempts to describe it have been through a
perspective that simply does not apply, as though their presumptions
were universally granted.

But only to the extent that atheists take theists "word for it."
