"They have provoked fierce criticism, including charges of atheistic
'fundamentalism.
The recent torrent of best-selling books by Sam Harris, Richard
Dawkins, Daniel Dennett, Christopher Hitchens, and others put the
case against religious belief.
"Russell Blackford is a philosopher, writer, and critic and currently
a postgraduate student and sessional lecturer in the School of
Philosophy and Bio ethics, Monash University.
As a creative writer and a literary critic, he specializes in the
science fiction field. His non-fiction work frequently deals with
issues involving the human, or post-human future."
