"God is a word that describes emptiness. It is the word given to an
absence . . . of information, of comprehension, of answers. The idea
of God grows in the way a balloon grows, a membrane inflated by
ignorance."

As good and accurate a definition as *I've* ever heard. And to think, he
didn't even have to use the terms 'make-believe' nor 'imaginary' anywhere in
his description.

He is a very erudite broadcaster in Oz.
He sticks to describing 'God' as a word, and nothing more.
He would be considered far too left wing for your FBI or CIA to
contemplate allowing him to broadcast in yankeeland, but his podcasts
are tremendously popular in the US.

That's because the USA is the 'Land of the Fee' and 'Home of the Not
Brave.'

Finally, after all these years, a coherant definition of "god".

And this was 'off the cuff' as it were, in one of his nationwide
