Automatically Change Wallpaper Day To Day |
I currently have a custom wallpaper, it's a image I created myself. I
went to google maps and found my house on there, than I took screen
captures, I kept moving around on the map and took enough captures to
make a 800X600 image. I combined the screen captures to make one giant
google satelite image of my neighborhood. I live right by Elm Street
so I put a Elm Street sign on the bottom and also Freddy Kruger for
good measure.

I really like this backround, and want to still have it, I found some
other cool backrounds I want to use, and I'd like to rotate them, so
one day it's my cool home image, and the next it's another cool image I
have.
Is there a way to do this automatically without having to manually
switch it everyday?
I'm using Windows XP, the most popular operating system.

Have you tried Google Earth?
http://earth.google.com/
It's free and could save you a lot of cutting and pasting.

There are a number of programs that will do this in a variety of ways. Some
are free and others cost.
Google "windows wallpaper changer free" (no quotes). This will get the free
ones as well as the paid ones since most offer a free trial.
Be careful with the free ones that seem to be to good to be true since many
harbor spyware.

Thanks, I'll have to try out a few different ones and see which one I
like the best.

I'm using SuSE 9.2 Professional, and I don't care about popularity.

Ok, if you give me a spare computer I'll put that operating system on
it. Sound fair?

I think Windows 98 is the most popular operating system. I'm using Ubuntu
5.04, which is very popular with me.

Do you eat McDonald's, the most popular food? Or wear polyester, the most
popular fabric?
Is your IQ < 100, the most popular score?

Try the freeware WinWall. It can do what you want. Try, for example
