George Carlin recently gave an explanation of why he believes America
was attacked on 9/11.
On HBO's "Real Time with Bill Maher," the comic spouted a line of
reasoning that, unfortunately, is shared by other boneheads in the
entertainment, academic and journalistic fields - that we somehow got
what we deserved on 9/11.
"This country has been pushing the world around and exploiting people
of the world for a long, long time. And sometime you have to pay the
piper," Carlin said.
He added that "we now have gotten enough people really angry and we
have sold enough weapons and we've developed enough technology for
them to have them now, and they're being used against us."
The Left Coast Report says it's great to know that in America we're
still free to be as irritating, ignorant and idiotic as we wanna be.

Clinton Hit with NewsMax Tape, Says 'I was Wrong' on Bin Laden Offer
For the first time ever, ex-President Bill Clinton has admitted that
he once publicly confessed to turning down an offer to have Osama bin
Laden arrested before the 9/11 attacks. But in an interview broadcast
Sunday, he now says that his confession was "not accurate."
"What I said there was wrong, what I said was in error," Clinton told
CNN's Christiane Amanpour, after she asked specifically about a 2002
speech to a Long Island business group where he detailed a 1996 offer
from Sudan for bin Laden's extradition.
The ex-president did not contest - as some of his defenders have -
that his 2002 remarks sounded like a confession.
"I'd said that we were told we couldn't hold him, implying that we had
a chance to get him," he told CNN. "But we didn't. That's not
factually accurate," he insisted again.
The speech was recorded by NewsMax.com, as well as the Long Island
Association, which hosted the event. The LIA has declined to make
their own recording public, though the group has supplied the 9/11
Commission with a videotape.
Just three months ago, when asked about print reports documenting his
bin Laden confession, Clinton told the Commission: "That was a
misquote." But that was before he learned that his remarks were on
tape.
When Amanpour asked him directly about the recording, Clinton said he
had "reconstructed all the records, read all the documents" about the
Sudanese controversey and had concluded his earlier recollection was
wrong.
"Here's what is factually accurate," he told her. "In 1996 - and
before then when we found out about bin Laden - we at first thought he
was a financier of terrorism but not a ringleader . . . When he took
up residence in Sudan, after having been ejected from Saudi Arabia, it
is true that at some point during that period, there was some
discussion in the Justice Department casting a doubt on how long we
could hold him."
But those discussions were not prompted by Sudan's offer, Clinton
said, which he still denies was genuine.
"The idea that the Sudanese offered to hand him over to us is just
absurd," he told CNN. "The idea that they told us when he was leaving
and he was landing in the Gulf, and we could get him at another
airport, is absurd."
While Amanpour interviewed Clinton last week - and CNN reported the
story on its web site Friday, the exchange about the Sudanese offer
was omitted from the report.
NewsMax.com columnist Steve Malzberg, however, caught CNN's early
Sunday morning telecast of the full interview, and broadcast the key
audio over his own popular WABC radio show.

Sun Myung Moon crowned as Second Coming in DC
The news of a very strange event that occurred at the end of March,
but was quietly swept under the carpet by the mainstream media, is
just now beginning to leak out. Expect to hear more about it in the
coming days. Here's a preview on what surely must be one of the most
bizarre happenings in the long history of Congressional oddities...
It occurred on March 23, 2004 when Reverend Sun Myung Moon, cultist
leader of the Unification Church (currently known as The Family
Federation for World Peace and Unification), was crowned "King of
Peace" in a coronation ceremony. In his coronation speech, Moon told
the audience that it was now time to officially recognize him as the
returned Messiah.

Republicans don't want us to know about. (Actually, it was a democrat
conservative, to the great relief of republican conservatives, who
placed the crown on Moon, in this hoax ceremony. In Moon's world he
replaces all governments with his Taliban, so Republicans and
Democrats all will be liquidated.
The quaint mass marriage ceremonies of the Moonies has another
significance: these represent thousands upon thousand upon thousands
of members of an organized crime empire, as dedicated as body-bomb
suicide muslims, to the eccentric whims of this visibly insane man.
Moonies surreptitiously swell rallies for rightwing causes, clog the
internet forums with their unshakable propaganda-mongering which
cannot be reasoned with, vote as a block and move across state lines
to do it. They even move across international boundaries to meddle in
politics.
Moonies also collaborate with other organized crime rings for mutal
profit.

THE LIBERAL MEDIA. NOW YOU KNOW!
What an incredibly bad week for the mainstream media. After watching
the performance of such newspapers as The New York Times and The
Washington Post, and other news organizations like CNN, The Associated
Press and MSNBC, there really can't be any doubt about the blatant
leftist bias of the media. The very fact that I'm harping on this
situation even today shows how upset I am at the level of blatant
bias.
I'm referring, of course, to some of the preliminary staff reports
form the 9/11 Commission last week. In brief, the report said that
there certainly was evidence of connections between Saddam Hussein and
Al Qaeda. The report, however, said that there was no evidence that
Saddam and Al Qaeda actually collaborated on terrorist attacks against
the United States.
Now ... remember; the basic story here. The 9/11 Commission found
there was a connection between Iraq and Al Qaeda. Maybe not actual
collaboration, but there was a connection. Now ... read the headlines:
"Saddam, al-Qaida Not Linked. Sept. 11 Panel's Conclusion at Odds with
Administration." Pittsburgh Post=Gazette.
"9/11 Panel Debunks Saddam Link. Report: No Evidence of al-Qaeda
Ties." Pittsburgh Tribune-Review
Now listen to the words of Keith Olberman of MSNBC last Wednesday.
"Memo to vice president: 9/11 Commission finds "no credible evidence"
of any link between al-Qaeda and Iraq."
You've already seen the stories ran by The Washington Post, the New
York Times, CNN, Associated Press and more, all saying the same thing;
all saying that the panel had found no link between Iraq and al Qaida.
Now ... what does the Vice Chairman of the Panel say? Lee Hamilton
says "There were connections between al-Qaida and Saddam Hussein's
government. We don't disagree with that. What we have said is that we
don't have any evidence of a cooperative or a collaborative
relationship between Saddam Hussein's government and these al-Qaida
operatives with regard to attacks on the United States."
Here's something else you may not have heard. Last week Vladimir Putin
said that he warned the U.S. after 9/11 that his Russian intelligence
forces, who were a lot closer to Saddam's regime than our own
intelligence forces, had determined that Saddam was preparing
terrorist attacks on the United States.
Read that again. Putin tells us that Saddam was planning terrorist
attacks on the US. Did you happen to read that in your local paper?
Oh, it was probably there .. but let's just say it doesn't get the
same type of
headlines as do the false stories saying that Saddam had no
connections with al-Qaidi.
It's bias, folks. Pure, unadulterated bias. The editors at these media
outlets are determined to do absolutely everything they can to turn
the public against George Bush during this election year. They're
going to be
voting for The Poodle, and they want you to vote for him also. Never
have I seen the bias so obvious and strong.
