Basted in Blood |
So um, we wrote a song about it for all the turkeys out there
who celebrate Thanksgiving. It's called "Basted in Blood".
Cinder & Sarah:
We gather together
for yams, beans, and cranberry sauce
But have you given much thought lately
to the Turkey Holocaust?
20 Million noble birds
slaughtered every fall
Ain't no difference between Hitler, Stalin,
And the folks at Butterball
So set your tables America
from Birmingham to Branson
But when you carve that turkey
you're a finger licking Charlie Manson
Enjoy your pumpkin pie
Your buttery idaho spuds
Grandma's chestnut stuffing
and a turkey basted in blood
Basted in blood
.

Actually, seasoned melted butter works *much* better as a basting
agent.

LOL! Get a grip, it's a TURKEY! BTW, I smoked mine this year. The
hardest part was finding a big enough rolling paper!

I take it you've never met a turkey? Dumbest animals on the planet.
Nothing noble about them at all.
Oh, and Hitler and Stalin massacred humans. You klnow, us upright
bipeds who can talk, create works of art, and build computers and the
like. Turkeys are slaughtered for food, which is what humans have
been doing since our days as ancestral primates in East Africa.
