Simply because there is no objectively verifiable evidence to be, for, any
god, much less your silly ***** god.
Some evidence on your part might help your case, no, the bible is not
objective verifiable evidence, its hearsay, no, your saying you have faith
can not be construed as evidence of a god, maybe evidence of mental deficit
on your part, but not evidence of a god, no, just because most of the people
in the world believe in a god, this can not be construed as objective
verifiable evidence, if it was the case, then there would be a case for
Santa Claus, the Easter Bunny, goblins, ghosts, fairies, trolls, elves,
gnomes and many others phantasmagoric myths that most of the children of the
world believe in.
It could also be that the people here are excruciatingly tired of dim-witted
peckerwoods, just like you, saying the same things over and over and over
again, then not listening when every last one of there talking points is
shot down in a massive fusillade that would make the Hiroshima bomb look
like a firecracker, only to hear, that doesn't make any difference I have
faith.
Now Paul be a good boy and go play outside for a while.

We aren't. How can we be against something we
don't believe exists? There is nothing to be against.
What we are against is self-righteous proselytizing
Christians (or other kinds of theists) who feel it is
their duty to show up where they are not welcome
- like here in alt.atheism, for instance. If they would
bother to read our FAQs, they would know not to
come here to push their unwanted religions. Still,
even some of those who do bother to read the FAQs
still come here and behave totally obnoxiously. Then,
they complain about our ill behavior, totally ignoring
their own.
Proselytizers tell us that it is their duty to come to
alt.atheism to try to convert us to their bloody and
horrifyingly disgusting mytholgy. Well, it is our duty,
as atheists, to tell them in no uncertain terms that
we aren't interested. If they don't like that, tough.

The Tooth Fairy is known not to exist.

Oh really? Based on what evidence?
BTW, while you're at it, please prove that there's not an invisible
leprechaun dancing on the top of my computer monitor.
And if you still have some spare time, who about proving that the spirit of
John Candy has spoken to you. I've seen the post where you claim that's the
case.
You weren't lying about that, were you?

God however...

What?

Well, first off, moron, belief in your god is down somewhere like 1/3
of the world's population. Secondly, idjit, how can we be "so against"
something we don't believe exists?

A great number of people believe that a lovelorn midget, brought in to
play a munchkin, hung himself on the set of The Wizard Of Oz.
False.
The movement in the background of the meeting tinman scene is a heron,
visible in the previous shot, flapping it's wings.
A great number of people believe that time is the fourth dimension.
False.
Time exists on all dimensions. Dimensions are exclusivly spactial
ideas. The fourth dimension is polychorons: four dimensional shapes
defined by three-dimensional "cells" the way three dimensional shapes
are defined by two dimensional "faces".
A million people believing an eeroneous concept does not make the
concept true.
