As I told him then, there's evidence of life almost two billion years
prior to the so-called Cambrian "explosion".

In short, his claim for life "SUDDENLY appearing" is a shameless LIE.
That's why Bob Crowley is a liar.
But what does Crowley mean by "major phyla"? For example, you can
argue that the phylum "chordata" was represented there in the
Cambrian, but by what?
Was there a bear in the Cambrian? Nope. How about an eagle? Nope.
Well, was there a Komodo dragon? Nope. Okay, forget the purely
terrestrial chordates, what about a frog? Was there something even
close to a frog in the Cambrian? Nope! A fish? There had to be a
shark right? Nope. Okay, forget chordates. Was there *any* modern
organism representative of a modern phylum, in the Cambrian? Like an
insect, for example? Nope. Wasn't there even a lowly a flowering
plant? Nope. Grass? There was grass, right? Nope.
So Crowley's claim is pretty pathetic. Not only is it not accurate,
it doesn't even begin to address the real world, it makes far too much
of the loose term "Cambrian explosion", and it conveniently ignores
the wealth of fossils that have been found from the Precambrian.
The fact is that there was no sudden appearance of life. It was a
gradual appearance of primitive life, which is shown, in the fossil
record, changing continually from the Precambrian through to the most
recent fossils we can find. EXACTLY AS THE THE THEORY OF EVOLUTION
ASSERTS.
And even if it did do all he claims, even if there were a sudden
explosion of life, how would this constitute *postive* *scientific*
evidence *for* a creation?
It wouldn't.
This is why Bob Crowley is a liar. And he's stupid, too.
His "response" to the first of this new series was exactly the same as
all his previous repsonses to material in the above-mentioned
"debate", which is to ignore what I wrote.
He ignores it because it shows him to be a liar, a hypocrite, a coward
- and stupid, too.
He ignores it because he knows in his heart that he cannot refute it
and he cannot offer better evidence for his case since he has **NO**
evidence for his case.
So he posts a chunk of blather cut from AiG, none of which is relevant
to making his case of positive scientific evidence for creation. None
of which is even remotely relevant to what *I* posted, let alone
attempts to rebut what I posted.
This is why Bob Crowley is a coward. And he's stupid, too.
