Killed while guarding high profile American generals.
The 29-year-old, from Redcar, was working for a private
security firm guarding American troops when the
incident happened at around 10am local time on
Wednesday.
His death came the day before his daughter Lottie's third
birthday and a week before the 21st anniversary of the
day his father, Les, was killed in an accident at Boulby
Pot Ash Mine.
His older brother, Jay Stephenson, also of Redcar, said:
"We are all devastated. I just feel numb.
"When I think of the memories of my little brother I
want to smile. But then I think how he has been taken
away from us, then I feel robbed."
Noah's wife Susie, who lives in Wiltshire with his
daughter and two step-children, received the
devastating visit from the Foreign Office on
Wednesday night.

I think he was guarding the pricks. It shows the considerable faith the
US military has in its own troops when it comes to the personal safety
of their hierarchy!
