BOOKS THAT EVERY CHRITIAN SHOULD READ |
BOOKS THAT EVERY CHRITIAN SHOULD READ
By New10.
XX
Books that every Christian should read especially those in fundament's
religions. Studies have shown the more fundamental the religion the more
abuse in the family, including incest.
Serpents in the Manger Overcoming Abusive Christianity by Jerry L. Harris,
Ph.D. Christianity and Incest, by Annie Imbens and Ineke Jonker. Spare the
Child The Religious Roots of Punishment and the Psychological Impact of
Physical Abuse by Philip P. Grevin. Then when you have time read The Guru
Papers Masks of Authoritarian Power by Joel Kramer and Diana Alsted, both
social psychologists
If you read no other book including the Bible, you will be living in the
REAL world of facts that you choose to ignore.

Sounds to me like you are looking at a serious problem which effects all
people of every religion, and no religion at all, and attempting to make
it a Christian problem. The fact you are choosing to ignore is that
anyone can be abusive, being a Christian is not a qualifying factor.
Christianity has always taught that abuse of any kind is intrinsicly
evil. If some people choose to ignore the teachings of the Church, even
while calling themselves Christians, this is not the fault of the Church.
In the ultimate analysis, I believe we will find it much easier to
combat the problem of abuse if we recognize it's true cause, namely,
humanities warped nature which needs the grace of God for which it was
created.
Michael.
