Born-Agains Should be Nervous - Hurricane Isabel Churns Toward East Coast |
Isn't it strange - it's heading right for Washington.
Looks like Someone's gonna get some payback...
I wonder how many of the born-again kooks (including your moron leader) are
gonna think 'God is on your side' when this baby hits?

MIAMI (Reuters) - Hurricane Isabel churned across the Atlantic on its way to
the U.S. East Coast on Tuesday, its 120 mph winds bringing dangerous surf to
parts of the coastline as the storm headed toward North Carolina.
Isabel's path could bring it ashore as early as Thursday near Cape Hatteras,
North Carolina, and north along the Chesapeake Bay near Washington, through
Virginia, Maryland and Pennsylvania, the U.S. National Hurricane Center
said.
Forecasters said the storm was already bringing large ocean swells and
dangerous surf conditions along parts of the mid-Atlantic coastline, where
it could affect millions of people in some of the most heavily populated
areas of the Eastern Seaboard as far north as New Jersey. '

Sorry to disappoint you, but the hurricane is weakening and expected to
cause mainly wind damage in the Washington Metropolitan area. It's now
expected to go thruough Richmond and Charlottesville and even if it
flattened everything in Washington, what would that prove?

Right - that's why the Navy and Congress are running from it like bitches.

I don't know - ask the bible freaks. They claim to know God's ways.

Stupid cretin. Here in Florida we know vote/election stealing frauds
like Al Gore and the Daley family plus we know hurricanes.
By the time this storm gets to NC & VA it will be down to 100 mph or
less. I predicted this two days ago when it was 155 mph. It is moving
slowly over cooler waters and losing strength. The east coast is
lucky it is crusing along at 8 mph. It will cause some damage and
maybe generate a tornado or two but it should not be too bad.
This hurricane is less dangerous than the idiotic ideas in Al Gore's
stupid book about the earth.

Who's the cretin? You obviously haven't been paying attention. A
slow storm is worse that a fast one because it can easily stall over
an area and dump tons of rain. Flooding is a bigger hazard that high
winds. You'd know that if you could get your nose out of Bush's *****.

hurricane away.
He is covered either way:
1. God answered his prayer.
2. God will punish us for not adoring him enough.

On the TV 700 Club today Pat Robertson implored God to turn the
hurricane away.
Actually Robertson tried that before in 1985 with Hurricane Gloria. It ended up
being diverted from his headquarters but did millions of dollars in damage to
the northern states, particularly New York and Massachusetts.

He claimed it did. I would have loved it if someone who had lost a family
member had had him charged with accessory to murder because it would have
forced him to claim that his prayer didn't work in order for him to refute the
charge.
