Buddha And His Four Noble Sins |
(1) He left his wife forcing her to live life of "monk's widow". By
abandoning his wife, he destroyed her happiness.
(2) He could have given love to his son as it was his duty as father.
But he called his son as "obstacle" and left his son.
(3) He also left his old father ignoring his duties as son.
(4) He could have eradicated miseries of people by becoming able king.
But he ignored his duty towards his kingdom.
These are "Four Noble Sins" committed by Siddharth.

One of the goals of 9/11 was to get the US more involved in the
mid-east, especially Iraq. A big goal was to get rid of the Secular
Saddam and establish a religous gov. instead.
A side benefit was diverting us Military attention away from Osama.
But you knew all that.
the goal of the Commander-in-Chief's response to Sept 11 is
to irradicate Islamic extremism from the face of the earth
Interesting thought. Maybe he should try that, rather than encouraging
it as much as humanly possible.
At least they can buy assault weapons now. That was helpful of him.

Nice to see you develop the thread as usual, Cuppie.
BTW what's the story with all these TV ads trying to discredit Kerry - i
s
it
true that Bush is now getting away with
having avoided military service like the plague? Then again, who can bla
me
him: who would want to find himself in Vietnam being shot at?
I'd rather have stayed at home too.
yer right -- ie. our Commander-in-Chief is no dummy
Well, he's smarter than most of the people who voted for him, anyway....
That's not saying much.
the Commander-in-Chief has been right on in his response
to Sept 11 from the very start; and, my best guess now
is that he's gonna abandon Iraq and move all of our troops
into an invasion of Iran, and let all of the Iraqis juzt kill
each other in a bloody civil war...
If by "Commander-in-cheif" you mean Osama, and if by "his response" you
mean bushes, then I think you're right. Bush did just what Osama
expected/wanted him to do.
thanks for giving me this opportunity to correct my text above
... how do yu figure "expected/wanted him to do"? --
Osama is out of a job and looking for someplace to live...

One of the goals of 9/11 was to get the US more involved in the
mid-east, especially Iraq. A big goal was to get rid of the Secular
Saddam and establish a religous gov. instead.
A side benefit was diverting us Military attention away from Osama.
But you knew all that.
the goal of the Commander-in-Chief's response to Sept 11 is
to irradicate Islamic extremism from the face of the earth
great job so far <snicker> he's increased it a hundred-fold you

well it would be just like those oil-sucking deferment-hungry frat-boys
to kill thousands of Iraqis and over 1000 Americans in the cause of
"freedom" [and the middle east oil pipeline] and then cut and run when
the going gets too tough and it is no longer poliically expedient. a
pox on them I say!
Kerry did a decent job in the debate tonight. I'm watching the poll
numbers and praying my ***** off.

Nice to see you develop the thread as usual, Cuppie.
BTW what's the story with all these TV ads trying to discredit
Kerry -
i

it
true that Bush is now getting away with

who can b

him: who would want to find himself in Vietnam being shot at?
I'd rather have stayed at home too.
yer right -- ie. our Commander-in-Chief is no dummy
Well, he's smarter than most of the people who voted for him,
anyway....
If by "Commander-in-cheif" you mean Osama, and if by "his response"
you
mean bushes, then I think you're right. Bush did just what Osama
expected/wanted him to do.
thanks for giving me this opportunity to correct my text above

Osama is out of a job and looking for someplace to live...

One of the goals of 9/11 was to get the US more involved in the
mid-east, especially Iraq. A big goal was to get rid of the Secular
Saddam and establish a religous gov. instead.
A side benefit was diverting us Military attention away from Osama.
But you knew all that.
the goal of the Commander-in-Chief's response to Sept 11 is
to irradicate Islamic extremism from the face of the earth
great job so far <snicker> he's increased it a hundred-fold
you fool!!!!
well, yu always gotta break a few eggs ta' bake
a cake, ya know :)
yeah, but putting the shells in too; yuck.
doesn't he have the recipe?
Nope, no recipe and no plan (but maybe an
"exit strategy"--Rumsfeld said recently that
we may leave Iraq before there's peace there:
it's always been a rough part of the world).
George
well it would be just like those oil-sucking deferment-hungry frat-boys to
kill thousands of Iraqis and over 1000 Americans in the cause of "freedom"
[and the middle east oil pipeline] and then cut and run when the going
gets too tough and it is no longer poliically expedient. a pox on them I
say!
Kerry did a decent job in the debate tonight. I'm watching the poll
numbers and praying my ***** off.
The polls say Kerry won. Not only did Kerry look
presidential, Duuuuhbya looked dumb. One
Republican pundit summed up the debate this
way: "Kerry is in possession of the facts, but
Bush is resolute"! The pundit didn't seem to
notice how this describes Bush's trajectory:
Bush resolutely pursues his mission regardless
of the facts and indifferent to the actual situation.
Bush will be depicted in the forthcoming "Faith
in the White House" dvd as a prodigal son who
was born again and became a warrior of God
who will triumph over evil in the Middle East.
The dvd will even show Bush resisting a young
woman's propositioning him to have sex.

Nice to see you develop the thread as usual, Cuppie.
BTW what's the story with all these TV ads trying to discredit
Kerry -
i

it
true that Bush is now getting away with

him: who would want to find himself in Vietnam being shot at?
I'd rather have stayed at home too.
yer right -- ie. our Commander-in-Chief is no dummy
Well, he's smarter than most of the people who voted for him,
anyway....
If by "Commander-in-cheif" you mean Osama, and if by "his response"
you
mean bushes, then I think you're right. Bush did just what Osama
expected/wanted him to do.
thanks for giving me this opportunity to correct my text above
... how do yu figure "expected/wanted him to do"? --
Osama is out of a job and looking for someplace to live...
Roger
George
well at least he's not a hypocrite...... : )
