It looks like the Liberal-National coalition government in Australia
will be returned with an increased majority. I love the 22nd amendment
the that the Americans have. It means another three years of the
little ***** John Howard. More lies. More wars. More ***** etc.
The MO was easy. Tell the people that interest rate will rise (because
Aussies are mortgaged up to their eyeballs) under the alternative and
general negative campaigning.
One of the significant developments has been the presence of the
Family First Party and the influence of the Hillsong Church for some
other candidates. Now I wait in worried anticipation for the other
shoe to drop. What was the preference swap deal between the government
and Family First.

We are going to be in severe deep ***** very, very soon! By the time Peter
Costello takes over we won't be able to recognize our country. A big black
cloud is forming and all the happy little idiots are laying out their
picnics thinking it's sunshine. I am dreading the next few years!

I don't think Costello will take over. I think Howard will have to be
carried out in a box. If he can he'll go for the record. In December
he will surpass Bob Hawke as second longest serving PM. That leaves
another 8 years to surpass Menzies (I hope I'm wrong). Costello will
get bored and will take a high paying corporate job.
I predict that the promise of continued low interest rates will very
quickly become, to use a Howard coined term, a non-core promise. You
can expect petrol to go up 10c on Monday having been held back for the
election. Petrol was $1/litre when oil was $US40/barrel. No way it can
still remain at $1 with oil touching $53. Gold will follow oil and
interest rates will have to follow gold, otherwise risking very high
inflation and currency devaluation if rates are held down.
Householders have a choice of being hammered with interest rates or
inflation.
John Howard will direct this anger onto soft targets for his own
survival. If you're not part of Howard's no longer quiet so
comfortable Australia watch out.
New Zealand is looking better each year. Maybe time to brush up on
language skills.

There's movement underway to shitcan the 22nd amendment.

It was inevitable really.
Little Johnny has learned how to scare the be-jeebers out of our local
morons, and fraudulently steal elections just like his "hero" George
W. Bush, with the help of the mass media, including the sickeningly
sycophantic ABC.
