Just got a request from one of your people on the C to D for a 'drawer ad'
on Foley in case the GOPs decide to turn him or Hastert into the posterboys
for lost causes.
FADE IN.
Television set showing stock footage of Foley's tearful resignation,
Hastert's denial of previous knowledge, etc., etc. Find some stock footage
of Foley with a page. Make damned sure the face of the page isn't visible.
Should be easy.
VOICEOVER: describes the facts concerning Foley's text messaging pedophilia,
Hastert knew about it, yadda, yadda [Note to self: For VO, Call Peter
Coyote. He's toast since "Commander in Chief" was cancelled].
CAMERA: Pan out, swing right, zoom to three quarter shot of Angelina Jolie
[in full Tomb Raider regalia] watching television. [Note to self: check TM
status on the Tomb Raider thing: Do they own the IP rights to the chartreuse
top and the shorts?]
CAMERA: Cut to television, freeze frame on Foley and the page.
CAMERA: Cut back to Angie's face: Blows lock of hair to one side, does the
"up from under" tomb raider look.
CAMERA: Zoom on Angie's lips.
JOLIE: [Breathy British accent] " Bugger!! "
FREEZE and CUT.
Notes:
1. Keep it "in the drawer" but FX a copy to RNC headquarters.
2. Accompany leaked copy with note explaining definition of "bugger." [I
don't want us just assuming they own a dictionary or know how to use one].
