Bunch of Jesus Tomb Links |
Let me say up front that I'm highly skeptical of the claims made by
Cameron, Jacobovici and Pellegrino about the ossuaries allegedly found in
Talpiot. Their previous _Exodus Decoded_ "documentary" was
embarrassingly bad as well. Jacobovici is not an archaeologist and
clearly tries to fit evidence to his over-blown expectations.
I also find their "probability" calculations to be laughable. It is
funny that this is the same sort of argument that the gullible used to
defend the fake "James brother of Jesus ossuary" and now xers are flip-
flopping all over the place trying to say these types of arguments are no
good. Jacobovici uses the analogy of finding a burial chamber in
Liverpool, 2000 years from now, labelled George, Paul, John and Ringo and
wondering, if these the Beatles. Unfortunately, because of the mystique
and larger than life myth surrounding bands like the Beatles, adoring
fans might well do all kinds of crazy things, including creating a fake
masoleum for the band members, along with Sgt. Pepper and Lucy in the Sky
with Diamonds buried right next to them.
My personal view, at this point, is that, if these are not modern
forgeries, they are probably the work of ancient relic mongers. They
haven't actually dated these artifacts, and it seems far too convenient
that all of these would be collected together like this.
However, having said all that, you should watch a few of these videos for
yourself, just so you can quiz all your christer buddies and give them

I've never seen that movie... My best guess is that you're
talking about an eggman and Victor Spinetti. That movie must
be stranger than I thought...

THE RETURN TRIP (1/25/86)
Jesus came back and landed in Allentown! (PA).
He didn't know what to do, so just sort of hung around.
Naturally he spoke Hebrew, not a word of English.
He looked up to Daddy, with a nervous twitch.
He wandered down to Hamilton Mall,
Looking for Peter, John and Paul.
But he found a wino staggering on 8th Street.
'Twas the middle of winter, Christ in bare feet.
The Visitor wanted a drink of wine.
The wino said "This juice is mine."
A cop saw Jesus grab for the booze.
The wino's bottle he did lose.
The cop had to lock Him up in jail.
Jesus then began to wail.
Daddy had said "You will be King."
But he's now in Rittersville** on the right side wing.
