Unbelieveable - it took four days to get food, water and
the National Guard to New Orleans. Now, Bush and his
cronies are bragging about what a great job they've done!

The right word. Unbelievable. In 1974 on Christmas eve Cyclone Tracy
totally destroyed Darwin, a city with only 35,000 people then. Within
says over 30,000 people were evacuated thousands of miles to southern
Australian cities using military transport aircraft and charted
airliners. Darwin was and still is a lot smaller than New Orleans but
so too was the country that organised it and the distances travelled
were that much greater. The 60 people or so who died died because of
the cyclone - not because of the aftermath.
I'm certain that a category 5 political storm is brewing over Katrina.
Bush's ineptness amounts almost to genocide. For this alone he should
be impeached and imprisoned. The thousands dead should be added to the
Iraq death toll since money for the maintaining the levees was
siphoned off for the war.
For non-Aussies a cyclone is like a Hurricane except it is in the
southern hemisphere and it rotates in the opposite direction but that
is an unimportant difference in you are caught in one.

You know, if that would have happened here in the U.S., even if all
35,000 people died horrible, painful and nightmarish deaths, the
Christians would be gloating for years over how it happened because it
was "Darwin". You can probably guess why, but if you happen to be
fortunate enough to not have been exposed to enough of their poison to
just "get it" automatically, I'll be happy enough for your good
fortune to explain it to you.

I thought I might have found it when I ran across the following:

"The snobs of secularism will no doubt disparage such simple-minded
expressions of piety. They call us "Jesus freaks," "Bible-thumpers,"
and "fundies." They accuse us of being "weak" and of suffering from a
"neurological disorder."
I thought the above might be a reference to alt.atheism.
What's sad is the following:
"In typical toddler fashion, my daughter is now absolutely fanatical
about her new routine. Not only must we say grace before every meal,
but also before each snack. And anytime we have a drink. And anytime
her baby brother gobbles Cheerios in his car seat. Failure to give
thanks to G-d is met with swift retribution. Our daughter has no
qualms about chastising us in public at restaurants, airports, or
Starbucks: "Hey, stop eating! You forgot to say grace!"
Her four-year-old daughter is already a full-blown fundy. The
neurological disorder has successfully been passed on from parent to
child, and gotten even more fanatical in the process. Boy oh boy...

because she made a reference to me in one of her
columns. I used to have the cite but lost in when my
computer crashed. Does anyone have it?

I thought I might have found it when I ran across the following:

http://jewishworldreview.com/michelle/malkin112404.asp

Here it is:

http://michellemalkin.com/archives/000022.htm

And yes, she slanders "our" Michelle:

"She is a left-wing, God-hating social worker..."

What a liar.

I fell all icky now after going there to read that.

Thanks, G-Ride. That was the column I used to have.

That's just his standard lead-in for his postings. You can write your
own lead-in with a lot of posting software and he's used that one for
quite a while now.
when he's talking to Fred Stone, it always makes me think of the
cartoon Fred Flintstone since it says 'TV's Fred Stone'.
