Bush: 5 Honesty: 0 |
Was just watching the New England Cable News
channel (which, up to this point, I considered the
very last source of actual "news" on television)
when the ran this story...
Are you ready for this one?
Presidential campaign... new revelations... military
records...
Yes, the press just got FULL DISCLOSURE of his
military records.
John Kerry's, that is.
As far as Bush is concerned, you are ordered to
remain in your hypnotic state:
Believe....Bush served with honors...believe...honorable
discharge...believe...Bush released all his records
himself...you will believe...CBS invented the controversy
with THEIR forged document...your head hurts if you
doubt...Bush is a hero...you must believe...

I saw this elsewhere and thought it summed up the situation nicely:
Bush war record: poorly sourced stories that are true.
Kerry war record: accurately sourced stories that are false.

So he deliberately lied to the American public in the runup to the election.
Why is no one surprised?

Lied? Are you sniffing glue again?
Even Bush's media lap dogs had to admit that the "official"
records had already pretty much been released on Kerry's
web site.
Bush's records, on the other hand, still haven't seen the light
of day. Well, there's those Whitehouse released "reproductions"
that have Bush reporting to the wrong unit, yet still can't
account for a six month absence, but he has yet to fully disclose
his military records.

But never authorized the military to do so.

Michael Nesmith did. He served two years in the USAF in the early
sixties. (Actually, odds are he learned to fire the M-14 since the
M-16 was still a relatively new weapon when he left the service.)
See Earl, even a hippie like Micael Nesmith is more patriotic than

Followers of Earl know that he has a limited and strange idea of honesty.
Clearly he was either something other than 1A and the government does not
tell people to make weapons. They don't have to, they just make
"suggestions"
Doctors for example could let themselves be drafted for two years and do
scut work or they could "voluntarily" enlist and be a Captain for four
years.
But what sank in earlier today was his constant instance that he *made*
weapons. Allegedly a graduate engineer he didn't "work on" or "design"
weapons, he made them.
Sounds like 1Y or 4 F and assembly line work to me.

I'd still love to see, if Heaven existed, this little dialogue between
duke and St. Peter at the Pearly Gates.
duke: "Heaven! I'm here!"
St. Peter: "Hm. Let's see here..."
duke: "C'mon, c'mon, c'mon! I wanna see God! Tell him how much I love
him!"
St. Peter: "It says here that you were a Christian on Earth."
duke: (Proudly) "Yes, sir!"
St. Peter: "Ooh, I'm sorry. I cannot allow you into Heaven."
duke: "...what?!"
St. Peter: "See, Heaven is for atheists only. They used the brain that
God gave them and didn't bother God with their penny-ante wants and
needs. They used what God gave them and screw the consequences. God
likes that in a soul."
duke: "...but...but...I devoted my whole life to worshipping God!"
St. Peter: "Sucks to be you. The downtown train leaves in five minutes."
duke: "...but...but..."
St. Peters: "Next?!"

ANYBODY can shoot an M-16. Keeping it clean and in working order,
hitting what you're aiming at, knowing what to shoot and when, and what
not to shoot, and above all, risking being shot at, well, that's what
makes a soldier.
I can shoot an M-16. I can clean and maintain an M-16. But I'm not a
soldier.
Dook doesn't seem to know what a soldier is, and by claiming service
equal to a soldier's, he belittles their service, he mocks them. He's a
coward.

They trained the Monkees to shoot M-16's?
Michael Nesmith did. He served two years in the USAF in the early
sixties. (Actually, odds are he learned to fire the M-14 since the
M-16 was still a relatively new weapon when he left the service.)
See Earl, even a hippie like Micael Nesmith is more patriotic than
you! Hell, Jerry Garcia (of the Grateful Dead) was drafted and
served in the US Army in the late fifties.
Now answer the question.
So there you go - proof positive that a monkey can be trained to
shoot a M-16.
Can you? ;-)
He's a
coward.
Come on now, he had other priorities. Worked for Cheney, the nutless puke.

I answered the call of my country. I did just exactly what they told me to do -
make weapons rather than carry one.
Under what Section of the Selective Service Act were you ordered to
remain in a civilian job?
And just where were you working?
Remember, berry, if you can train a monkey to design an M16, you can train a
monkey to shoot one.

Answer the questions Earl.
