The stem-cell debate is so lopsided that it borders on dull. Research
on embryonic stem cells may well produce breakthroughs in the treatment
of serious diseases such as diabetes and Parkinson's. The cost?
Destruction of a few unused human embryos - each a handful of cells -
that fertility clinics are going to chuck anyway. All gain, no pain.
What the phrase "no-brainer" was coined to cover. President Bush's
chief of staff may have blustered this week that "it's a very
complicated, very, very delicate issue," but it's not complicated. It's
dead simple.

Hey! If the Lord Jesus told Bush that it was 'murder' and that he should
have vetoed the bill. Who are *you* to question the holy word of 'the Lord'?
Jesus has spoken! Now if only 'the Lord' would turn to the rest of us, open
up his big yap, and repeat his words to President Bush to the rest of us,
there'd be no 'controversy'; now would there?
