Bush Blue Laws to celebrate Sabbath on Sunday?
Yet, the Sabbath really should be observed on Saturdays.
Will Religious-Right President George W. Bush go along with the store-front,
revival-tent, holy-stadium Christians demands for Blue Laws?
Blue Laws prohibit numerous activities on Sundays - kissing, travelling
unnececssarily, playing baseball, buying groceries, playing cards and
particularly gambling at the Indian Casinos, dancing, buying alcoholic
beverages. and many more. But most importantly in those southern dry
counties today, however, Blue Laws almost exclusively target those from
buying alcohol at the liquor store on Sunday.
