After openly admitting he was completely clueless during Katrina
(that's not what he said, but for someone who is the poster boy for
smug, what he did say amounts to the same thing), Bush has now
confirmed it.
On national television he was caught describing the horror of
post-Katrina New Orleans, apparently oblivious to the fact that the
rest of the nation was thoroughly clued into that mess two days before
Bush even woke up.
As if that wasn't bad enough, he presided over a national day of prayer
today - like *that's* going to benefit anyone.
He would have been more useful and made a better impression if he'd
gone down there, rolled up his sleeves, and pulled people out of the
water. But why would he do that when he can pretend he's doing
something?
