Bush Doesn't See Ghosts in White House
By THE ASSOCIATED PRESS
President Bush, in an interview with Brian Lamb of C-SPAN that was
released Friday, talked of life in the White House:
Lamb: "The longer you're in this White House, with all those that have
gone before you, do you see ghosts of past presidents?"
Bush: "Well, I quit drinking in '86. ... It's just really hard to
project back into somebody else's shoes. So, no, I guess I don't see
ghosts."

Hell I guess that the bottle of rum a friend told me that she and her friend
said he had tucked up under his arm in the liquor store out on Boca Grande,
Florida a year or two ago was just for show, or maybe his wife needed a hot
toddy before she would let him near her. Maybe he was running to the store
for Poppy, but you know I think Poppy and Barbara were up north somewhere or
another. In fact if I remember correctly they had said something about
having had a picture taken with old shrub. I will have to see if they have a
copy of that picture, wouldn't that be a cute picture our supposed abstinent
president with a bottle of Ron Rico tucked up under his arm. Very
interesting!
Maybe he just meant that he quite drinking enough to get falling down drunk,
or fail a breathalyzer test, who knows what "quit drinking" really means in
political spin speak?

In Texican Politician speak it means something like, "I quit admitting
that I haven't changed my drinking habits."

"Does it ever amaze anyone else how little faith some heterosexuals have
in heterosexuality? It's supposed to be this god-given human instinct
that only the warped and perverted ever stray from; but, it seems, if we
once tell our straight children a message even as mild as "some people
are gay, and that's all right," that'll be enough to send lil' Suzy into
the arms of women forever. It's a wonder the race has survived this
long, really..."
