Bush Forced to Admit He's a Wack Job |
In a first for his presidency, George "I killed more Iraqis than my dad
did" Bush finally admitted he's a screw-up yesterday (Tues, Sep 13th).
Obviously caught in an unguarded moment forced on him by his
depressingly low ratings, high gas prices, the failure of his
"initiative" on social security, the appalling debacle of Iraq, the
miscalculated appointment of yet another relatively moderate judge by
yet another Republican president, and the complete failure of his
disaster planning post 9/11 (as revealed by Katrina and the Waves), he
admitted that he did not know if the US is prepared for a natural
disaster or terrorist attack.
Well duhh! Like *that's* news!
While he has wasted attention on Iraq and on promoting assine grand
plans, the basic imperative of taking care of of people's life, liberty
and happiness seems to have completely escaped him.
