Object: Bush nominates Scalia clone to Supreme Court
President Poised to Pick Court Nominee Monday
Sources say most likely choice seems to be federal appeals Judge
Samuel A. Alito Jr.
Nicknamed "Scalito" by some who compare him to Scalia, Alito voted to
uphold a Pennsylvania law that required a woman to notify her husband
before an abortion -- a law rejected by the Supreme Court -- and wrote
a decision upholding a city holiday display that included a creche and
menorah...

An excellent choice! Alito will proceed with the vigorous support of mainstream
conservatives. People who would much rather argue with the Democrat opposition
than they are with their President. Alito is a man who will forcefully and
eloquently state the conservative philosophy for how our Constitution will be
interpreted. America needs to have a serious, principled debate on this subject.
Politically, with this choice, Bush has saved his Presidency from possible lame
duck status! With Fitzmas being a dud and practically forgotten now, the
President has found someone to rally his base. Today marks the real start of
Bush's second term!

Yeah! Now maybe they can get together and overturn some
of those bad decisions that say we can't discriminate against
Jews, Italians or, heck, anyone else for that matter!
This is a CHRISTIAN nation!
It's about time that we had a Supreme Court that was the
first to recognize the majorities "Right" to institute this
reality.

Yes. But with Bush to guide us, perhaps we will complete
our journey one day soon.

Wal-Mart is a temple, a temple to Capitalism. Jesus & Bush
would both enjoy nothing better than a true Christian spending
the Sabbath in a Wal-Mart, helping to create jobs for our good
friends in China.

It'll probably never get to that with Senate Republican fingers on
the legislative "nuclear button," regarding this Supreme Court
nomination, and in the likely event that is filibustered.
