BUSH 's PAID TERRORISTS SLAUGHTERED IN IRAQ |
Thus Spake God's Creator; (I don't forgive nothing!)
So much for the "innocent civilians" claim. They were armed
mercenaries working for one of Bu$h's allied corporations and
being paid with your tax $$$. You know how it works, Bu$h
starts a war, and all his buddies make $$$ off of it.
Maybe we should look at their deaths as a tax refund because I
certainly didn't vote to have my taxes used to pay these
criminals, or for the invasion of Iraq...
NC firm was providing security for food delivery in Iraq By
EMERY P. DALESIO Associated Press
The four civilians killed in Iraq on Wednesday worked for a
North Carolina security firm that hires former military members
from the United States and other countries.
Blackwater Security Consulting provides security training and
guard services to customers around the world. It is one of five
subsidiaries of Blackwater USA, based on a 6,000-square-acre
enclave in Currituck County in northeastern North Carolina, a
half-hour drive south of the world's largest naval base in
Norfolk, Va.
Blackwater President Gary Jackson and two other company leaders
are former Navy SEAL commandos.
The company referred calls Wednesday to a spokesman in suburban
Washington, D.C., who declined comment beyond a prepared
statement.
The company said in a statement Wednesday that it was a
government subcontractor providing security for the delivery of
food in the Fallujah area.
The names of the four victims were not immediately released
because family members had yet to be notified, U.S. officials
said. Jubilant Iraqi residents dragged two of the charred
corpses through the streets and hanged them from a bridge,
which the United States denounced as "horrific."
Privately owned Blackwater USA's range of paramilitary services
include providing firearms and small-groups training for Navy
SEALs, police department SWAT teams and former special
operations personnel.
"We're very proud of the work that we do. We feel that we
support a just cause," assistant training director Chris
Epperson said during a visit last month.
On a typical day, a Navy SEALs team practiced shooting in odd
positions through doors and windows and cadets from the U.S.
Coast Guard Academy learned how to storm through doorways
during a room-by-room search. Plain- clothes operatives
practiced how to escape from a disabled sport-utility vehicle
while under fire from attackers.
The company's security consulting business connects former
special forces troops with jobs that may involve protecting
people or places, or training foreign militaries.
Epperson said the company's contractors provide protection to
Paul Bremer, the U.S. administrator in Iraq.
A job description posted on Blackwater Security Consulting's
Web site last year described positions for independent
contractors needed to provide executive protection.
Candidates for other jobs needed to demonstrate the ability to
"operate in medium to high risk environments" and "for
personnel who have experience in forward operating base
environments and the skills to make them self sustaining with
limited infrastructure ..."
Another job offer said Blackwater USA had a Defense Department
contract "to train, equip, and permanently establish a Naval
Special Operations Unit in the Azerbaijan Armed Forces." The
manager responsible for getting the job done would be paid an
annual salary of $130,000 to $150,000.
Other Blackwater USA subsidiaries train dogs and handlers for
security work, and train pilots to land airplanes and
helicopters on dirt landing strips.

You said it yourself: mercenaries.
Terrorists? No, not unless they were involved in the
direct murder and persecution of Iraqi civilians, like
the US military. If so, then I would concur.
Opportunists? Profiteers? Most certainly.

Sounds to me like they provide a much needed service, and considering 4 of
them are now dead, at a ridiculously low price. Hard to get rich when
you're dead.
Frankly _GC_ I think you're full of well, alot of things, but common sense
isn't one of them. They were innocent civilians, protecting shipments of
FOOD for the people of Iraq. I'm not really going to go any further,
because frankly, it's not worth my time.

Food for WHO? Where did anyone say it was food for Iraqis? Why would private
security be doing the military's job for them? If it was food, it was for
Blackwater employees, not the Iraqis. Given the payscale differences between
Americans and Iraqis doing the same job in the same place, resentment just
over income-levels would be pretty high. If any abuse and/or arrogance was
thrown into the mix, that's a surefire recipe for backlash.
Recall that US convoy that was attacked by criminals? Turns out it was
carrying New Iraqi currency, not supplies. We tend to get a very slanted
version of the news over here (recall Jessica Lynch's daring on-camera
rescue and the rumors of rape, torture, etc., amnesia, etc. Turns out that
the only amnesia she had was between the time of her crash and waking up in
the hospital. Any rape, torture, etc., took place during the ride to the
hospital when she was unconscious).

The Thunder" <!ro_thunder@ev1.net> individual is
one of the mysteries of the G.W. Bush groups' hypnotic
effect on some peoples' ability to use logic.
Most of the American people should be demanding that G.W. Bush
be _imprisoned_, not just impeached.
Yet, Bush keep promising them better things
will come ... SOON... while he continues to do
irreparable damage to the U.S. and many other nations.
-- G.W. Bush *****-Ups --
1:Legal whining occupies President's over their involvement with Enron..
2:Military disasters in Pakistan and Afghanistan and Iraq.
3:All CIA coup attempts failed in South America.
4:Causing Japan to think about Nuclear arms because of North Korea.
5:Chinese victory over capturing our spy plane.
6:Enron buddies loot life savings. Bush gets them to promise to sign a
7:piece of paper saying their financial dealing are "real." LOL.
8:Osama Bin Laden still not found (2) years after 9-11.
9:Staff resignations and disagreements.
10:Tries to bully Saddam into starting a war with Israel.
11:Beating war drums ever louder, to scare up more public support.
12:Tries to cover up the Republican party's racism with Powell and Rice.
13:Continues to look like a fool, and getting world opinion against U.S.
14:Cutting taxes for America's most wealthy.
15:Lies about the racism of Grand Wizard Lott and Ashcroft.
16:Uses his appointed Atty. Gen. Ashcroft to block affirmative action.
17:Creating a huge U.S. government bureacy, while promising smaller
government.
18:Lying to the American people about protecting the nation from Terrorist.
19:Reduces health care coverage for Mid/Lower Income people.
20:No financial help for nations growing and failing education system.
21:Giving massive amounts of money to defense contractors for useless weapons.
22:Massive recession, unemployment, with no solutions or plans.
23:Increase's the number of people unemployed to make labor cheaper.
24:Throws the homeless and drug addicted people to the religious con_men.
25:Opposes an increase in the minimum wage for low income workers.
26:Lies about his religious convictions, while enjoying massive murders.
27:Lying about imminent terrorist attacks to hide economic failures.
28:Invades Iraq to get control of Saddam's oil and protect Israel's Jews.
29:Says he never had a ***** in the oval office, only pretzels.
30:Kills hundreds of American soldiers in Pakistan, Afghanistan and Iraq.
31:Admits his DUI conviction and family members crack cocain problem.
You could add other Bush stupid things, if you have the time...

They were armed merceneries, in it for the money, not 19-year-old
draftees, or "innocent civilians." Today they protect food shipments.
Tomorrow they shoot people. Whatever you pay them to do, they do.
