Now he's all but getting into brawls! But it's only a reprise of his
overall approach to the presidency: blunder in without adequate
thought and hope for the best while the nation and its reputation is
trashed the world over.

That story is *weird*
I mean, did the Chileans not know that everyone would need to pass through a
metal detector? Wouldn't that have been worked out in advance? I suspect
that someone in the Secret Service has some personal issues and is about to
lose their job.

I think the Chileans were ***** about the SS requiring *everyone* to pass
through metal detector (thus ruining the event). So they just "worked to
spec".
