Bush would lose for the third time. |
According to the latest poll,
http://www.cnn.com/2005/POLITICS/10/25/poll.bush/index.html
A majority would vote for a Democrat over President Bush if an election
were held this year.
(However, the USSC would probably appoint him once again.)
A majority of those questioned felt the Democrats could do a better job
than Republicans at handling health care (59 percent to 30 percent),
Social Security (56 percent to 33 percent), gasoline prices (51 percent
to 31 percent) and the economy (50 percent to 38 percent).
Forty-six percent also believed Democrats could do better at handling
Iraq, while 40 percent said the GOP would do better.

It's a real irony that REPUGNANTcons pushed that amendment through to
keep Truman from getting more than two terms and yet let's see who it
actually impacted:
Eisenhower
Reagan
Clinton
Bush II
3 REPUGNANTcons and *ONE* Democrat. :)

Well, I suppose they'd only have to eat about 20 years worth
of words from denouncing every Italian Democrat as "Mob

Funny thing is, Guilliani's man, the one they wanted to tap
for the Homeland "Security" gig, DOES have undeniable
ties to organized crime.
So after spending decades smearing Democrats like Mario
Cuomo with whispered mafia ties, they're going to nominate

It makes little difference to me when looking at a candidates
qualifications, however I won't be voting in ANY Republican primary. Well
then don't hold Republicans to a different standard than Democrats. If
having a sexual affair is inappropriate for a Democrat then it's also
inapropriate for a Republican. If the Republicans went after Clinton
because of an affair then why would you guys predict Guiliani, who also had
a long time mistress, to get the Republican nomination let alone win the
Presidency?
Don't be such a hypocrite.
Indeed, don't be a hypocrite. If it was wrong for Clinton then it's wrong
for Giuliani!

Will they be voting in the Republican primaries? It IS important to get
nominated by the Republicans.
Dont' worry about it..if you are one of those driberals who preach that
their sex lives are not an issue..don't talk about it at all.
It makes little difference to me when looking at a candidates
qualifications,
<snip>
alright then..it's not an issue.

Because I'm not the one who will be voting in a Republican primary!

"It makes little difference to me when looking at a candidates
qualifications, however I won't be voting in ANY Republican primary. Well
then don't hold Republicans to a different standard than Democrats. If
having a sexual affair is inappropriate for a Democrat then it's also
inapropriate for a Republican. If the Republicans went after Clinton
because of an affair then why would you guys predict Guiliani, who also had
a long time mistress, to get the Republican nomination let alone win the
Presidency?"
Why do you continually ignore that?
Nevermind.....<plonk>

Republicans went after Clinton for lying and obstruction.
