PHOENIX, Arizona (AP) -- U.S. Sen. John McCain said Monday that he has
"no confidence" in Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld, citing
Rumsfeld's handling of the war in Iraq and the failure to send more
troops.

Bush cares nothing for Republicans. He panders to them
and the fundies for support, but he and his gang only care
about wealth and power and will strive for those by any means
necessary.

He hates Bush with a passion for slandering him last time, but it
would have been political suicide for him to support Kerry. We get
used to McCain's integrity, but sometimes we forget that he is still a
human being. He didn't want throw away his career. He is a real
conservative, unlike Bush, so he would not have been welcome in either
party. I guess I don't blame him. But you would think a guy who
could stand up to a North Vietnamese prison would be able to stand up
baby Bush.

As usual, the best response to paranoia is Occam's Razor: The most
straightforward explanation is always your first choice.
The GOP has always prided itself on party unity and party loyalty. They
have no intention of splitting the party over Rumsfeld or any other issue.
