The stupid ***** claims that there is a "'dictatorship of relativism'
that denied the existence of absolute truths promoted by the 2,000-year-
old Church". Sorry, moron, but the church has never articulated any
"absolute truths". They say, "thou shall not kill" and yet catholics
subscribe to the doctrine of just war. What's just? ...It's whatever we
feel like calling it at the moment. They have relative standards like
everyone else. Furthermore, he should talk about dictatorship, since,
as a cardinal, he is one. He's vying for the job of top ***** in the
dictatorship: aka becoming the pope. What a pathetic waste of skin
cells cardinal rathole is.

How is the papal position anywhere close to a dictatorship?

A tricky, but I think arguable case.

Actually, the Pope is indeed the dictatorial, theocratic ruler of an entire
country, called Vatican City.

Yeah, but too bad I don't really care about that tiny little
place. It doesn't bother me if he's a "dictator" over the
Vatican, which is full of the church to begin with.

Church (n): slang for excrement.

Papal decrees which are binding on members of the RCC. Obey or burn
(obey and burn anyway). Such is Christian LoveŽ.

Entirely enforceable from not being allowed to practice ritual
cannibalism to excommunication.

Does anyone know what Ratzinger means in German? Does it mean rodent
electrocuter? Did his ancestors tie small mammals to tiny pine chairs
and place a moist clothe around a leg and head of the poor creature
and secure it there with electrodes connected to an AC motor
generator? Were his forebears rodent inquisitors?

It's not their dogma that bothers me. It's how their dogma affects the way
people vote, and therefore the laws I have to live under, that bothers me.

Ratzinger was a member of the Hitler Youth and served in the German
Army.
The Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith he runs is best known by
an older name - the Inquisition.
