Rockin'. Seven years of tracking the thing and now four years
of observations. The biggest interplanetary robot ever chucked into the
void, and so far working spectacularly.
Meanwhile, Spirit and Opportunity, despite their ages, are doing
very well. Can't complain; we've now started the colonization of the
solar system. As predicted, the colonists won't be made of meat.

From the latest webcast news conference, it's confirmed to be through
the ring plane and all systems report working "perfectly". Some *really*
spectacular ring images have been received.

Amazing images. I can't wait to see the true color image of the
F-ring.

I've been following the main image index for months now. Very nice
pictures, and now it will be worth checking once or twice a day :-)

As reported on the local news this morning, most people view this event as
yet another space rock. It's taken for granted. I hope the reporter was
able to reach at least a few hundred thousand with his comment that it
boggles the mind to realize the sheer intelligence it has taken to hit a
moving target with another moving target, over a period of seven years, and
to be able to place it in a precise orbit around an object a billion miles
away.

Yeah... and, like... so?

JUST kidding! It _is_ quite an impressive feat. Almost on par with
"Fear Factor"! ;-DDDDD (Again, kidding, PLEASE don't *hit* me,
though I'd desperately deserve it were I serious)
