Object: Catholic Officials Launch Campaign Against Assisted Suicide Bill
Has the world gone completely mad with it's lust for death? Kill them in the
womb or kill them when their sick. In between we send them to war. Thank God
for the RCC; at least someone is trying to return us to sanity.

British Catholic Officials Launch Campaign Against Assisted Suicide Bill
London, England (LifeNews.com) -- The Catholic Church in England has
launched an extensive national campaign to education Britons on the issue of
assisted suicide in advance of legislation that would legalize the grisly
practice. The bishops have sent 500,000 anti-assisted suicide brochures to
parishes across the nation and DVDs to every church in England and Wales.
The move comes in advance of assisted suicide legislation Lord Joffe has
proposed in the British House of Lords. Most Rev Peter Smith, Archbishop of
Cardiff, told the London Telegraph newspaper the campaign won't be
successful unless British residents actively campaign against the law with
them. "It's all very well for bishops to be giving out instructions," he
said. "But we need ordinary Catholics to go to peers and MPs and say we do
not want this law." The measure is expected to come up again for debate in
May. The church is working with the Care Not Killing alliance consisting of
disability groups, medical organizations and pro-life groups.

I have a family member suffering from ALS (Lou Gehrig's Disease). Because
assisted suicide is illegal, and he is physically incapable of killing
himself, although mentally alert, he is forced to suffer as he watches
himself waste away. I would rather see someone who wants to end their life
die with dignity, rather than dying as an incontinent, drooling mess.

Anyone in favour of really late term abortions so that J Young's parents can
have the source of their missery, finally put to rest, so that they can get
on with their own lives.

Bunch of fascist lunatics. They want YOU to be forced to remain alive
and suffer from extremely painful and miserable endstages of terminal
illnesses.
And yes, you'd better believe it. Like the unwanted medical condition
of unwanted pregnancy, there is also the unwanted medical condition of
being kept alive against one's wishes when one is suffering immensely
from the endstages of various terminal illnesses such as cancer, ALS,
AIDS, and horrible disabilities such as total paralysis, severe brain
malfunction, which occur from injuries/accidents and from illnesses
such as stroke, heart attack, etc.
Being alive CAN be an UNWANTED medical condition. Believe it or not. It
CERTAINLY is, in MANY cases that I am personally aware of.
Should these people be forced to suffer AGAINST their will?
"Oh, I think so. Let them suffer. Suffering is honourable and good."
says some nutcase from God knows where.
"Suffering is good and proper. Suffering is honourable. Right! Yeah!"
According to a bunch of radical nutjobs, maybe so.
According to sensible and fair-minded people, as one aptly put it,
"Suffering is unnecessary and humiliating and makes us look like
barbarians. We treat our animals better than that. Why should humans be
forced to suffer in the name of honour when such honour is merely an
illusion created by unrelenting fools!".

Why do people wish to force their beliefs on others even if it means the
others must suffer intermeddley?

By offering up children for their priests to *****? Yeah, that's really
sane. They just busted another big ring of pedophiles in the Catholic
Church of Ireland that the church had been protecting for who knows how
long.

Which reminds me as to whether before the factious invention known as the
Christian anti-gay agenda, whether solar eclipse phenomenon was the only
factor in social declension.
This afteral is the situation regarding the perpetuation of propaganda is
manifestly apparent in the circumstance of myths surrounding Pope John Paul
(May 18, 1920 - April 2, 2005) being a denier of the hyponomic character of
the hypostatis and the personality of Jesus Christ. [cf: The Desire of Ages,
The Great Controversy of the Ages;
The obvious anthropological question is whether the topical year cycle with
a dependency upon astronomical (visible planets) symbolic associations is
the basis for hypernomic (ie. in this case agricultural) aggregations of
people into communities exhibiting civility.
The question then, given the exigency of religious/political life to have
recourse to such phenomenon, as to whether blindness was a consequence of
observing geodesic solar eclipse occurrences. If a sudden and permanent
bereavement of faculty occurred amongst the upper social stratum resulting
in a mindset of spiraling declension as social deratiocination?
Thus having no artisans capable of indelibly recording proscriptions to
avoid such cosmological artifices [Deuteronomy 4:15-20], whether they
perished leaving the testimony of the level of beautiful accomplishment as
the civilization of their culture.
