Cheerioh all! |
It's been an interesting day -
Today I've learned much about American desserts, explained Britain's
radio station naming and learned from Duke about how Jesus can time
travel(to save souls of people who died B.C.)!
CrazyAlec seems to have sobered briefly by saying that "theists have a
belief" (one step away the "theism is a belief" truism).
I'm now going to follow Swarzeneggar's advice for extreme ectomorphs
-- "Consoom mo-ah callorees den yoo ah accustommed to" -- I'm off to
the pub.

Some. When I was stationed there I liked:
Tennant's Lager, Guiness.
Drank imports too, like;
Carlsberg Special Brew and
Heinekin.
Didn't care for Harp or Bass.
Don't recall other brands, its been too many years.

Actually, I see a lot of reference to a simple pimple on this ng, and I think it applies
to you, silly little boy.
If you knew anything about what I've been teaching you, you'd know one thing - there is
one almighty God. just one, who presented himself to mankind as 3 separate persons -
loving Father, saving Son Jesus, and the Holy Spirit.
One God, pimple, one God. And he transposes time. This same God created the heavens and
the universe about 14 billion years ago. God saved those "pre Christian era" people just
like he saves people today. No having to "go back". Although I suspect that if the
creator of the universe wants to, he can do that also.
So you see, it's not a good day for you, other than getting a good embarrassing adventure.

It's not a hypothesis; that means something else. His is an
assertation.
Maybe once he gives us scriptural support he can try giving us
evidence(although technically scriptures are infinitsimally weak
evidences).

My favorite part is the claim that his "god" created the universe 14
billion years ago. A webpage I was looking at (dated 1999) gave an age
of 12 billion. Before the Hubble telescope, astronomers couldn't decide
if the universe was 10 billion years old, or 20 billion.
This makes me wonder what Puke was asserting 20 years ago, about how long
ago his god created the universe... and why this figure is subject to
change.

Fascinating. Where do we find Scriptural support for this hypothesis

Dunno about that but I love the part about "transposes time."
I thought 'pimple' was a lovely touch myself. Very poetic.
Raptor514
My favorite part is the claim that his "god" created the universe 14
billion years ago. A webpage I was looking at (dated 1999) gave an age of
12 billion. Before the Hubble telescope, astronomers couldn't decide if
the universe was 10 billion years old, or 20 billion.
This makes me wonder what Puke was asserting 20 years ago, about how long
ago his god created the universe... and why this figure is subject to
change.
Heh. Reminds me of Blo... erm... you know.
"The Bible absolutely, accurately, positively said the universe was 12
billion... 14 billion... 11 billion... 13.5 billion..."

God became man in the person of Jesus to die on the cross for the redemption from sin and
salvation of souls. Jesus brought us salvation, not crucifixion, as revealed in the 2nd

Jesus is the only way to the Father, and the Father, Jesus the son, and the Holy Spirit

You're right, duke; the more I think about it the clearer it becomes
to me that Christianity is a not monotheism at all. Seems more like
tritheism. You may assert that they are "the same" god, but if one is
the only way through to the other, and one is the other's son...
we're talking about at least two entities here, probably more like
three.
Biblical accounts tacitly support this notion: look at the difference
between the Smite-'em-all god of the old testament and the
turn-the-other-cheek son of the new testament. Two very different
personalities.
