The drawing is atrocious. If people are going to attempt parodies,
they should at least put some effort into it.

they should at least put some effort into it.

It was a parody complete with Chick style drawings. Go to the real
Chick website and see for yourself. If anything, the parody site is
high art compared to Chick.

Sorry but the "drawings" look like they were produced on a

Heh. The panel where the guy says he told the christer guy not to come
back after skipping on a bill reminds me of this time I was in a small,
family owned Mexican restaurant and saw two guys get up and leave as the
one waitress was in the back.
They were passing something out to people as they headed down the
sidewalk. Looked like tracts to me.
The waitress shot by about then, trying to chase them down. Couldn't catch
them. Didn't get the money for the bill.
Later, on the way out, I saw one of the things they were passing out,
picked it up.
Yeah, it was a christian tract...

This is one of their more dishonest ploys: when they want to be a
beleaguered minority they exclude all the other denominations, and
when they want to impose their religion, the majority are Christian.
They want it both ways.
When they're not moving the goalposts to redefine Christian as
behaving as Jesus says - yet they are mortally offended if they're
asked if it means Jesus was an in-your-face lying hypocrite like they
are.

What they fail to see is that Jesus, weather he existed or not, was a
dangerous and threatening leader of a newly formed cult. The Charles
Manson of his day. The account was popular and people often scribed
their own inclusions to suite a particular need. The contradictions
grew which is really the driving force behind the popularity. If it's
flexible, it'll be hard to break.

The drawing is atrocious. If people are going to attempt parodies,
they should at least put some effort into it.

It's a comic !

And the parody drawing is much better than the Chick originals.

Heh. The panel where the guy says he told the christer guy not to
come back after skipping on a bill reminds me of this time I was in a
small, family owned Mexican restaurant and saw two guys get up and
leave as the one waitress was in the back.

They were passing something out to people as they headed down the
sidewalk. Looked like tracts to me.

The waitress shot by about then, trying to chase them down. Couldn't
catch them. Didn't get the money for the bill.

Later, on the way out, I saw one of the things they were passing out,
picked it up.

Yeah, it was a christian tract...

Priceless. Isn't that two of the deadly sins right there, theft, and
gluttony?

Laws are for the little people...

Why didn't anyone tell me this earlier?! And all this time I have been
following the law - such wasted time.

Now, now. You can't just get ordained and disobey the law with impunity.
*First you need a following who'll defend you no matter how many laws
you break.

Then you're good to go. Why, just ask Swaggert and Pat Robertson (et
al)...

Ah yes. Of course, you are correct. Guess it's time to start building that
cult of KY-Jelly worshipers that I have been talking about.

Ah, a religion I can *finally relate to!

I was thinking of a quick tour of the KY factory - then a much longer
tour of the Playboy mansion.
Then when there are enough followers, we can demand that everyone says a
pledge with KY in it.
