I don't have time to hang out and call you many insulting names right now,
so you'll have to suffer this time around.
I'm busy tending to my huge audience of new found friends who contacted me
as a result of your pompous buffooneries. Maybe I'll solicit some
suggestions from them. You're beginning to bore me.

I'll try to find a way to bow out, saving face."

Actually, we're well aware of where your money went,
and how well you must have researched, beforehand.
Paying an iridologist is pretty harmless stuff, wouldn't
you say, next to what you describe as your investment
of choice, across more than a decade ...
You documented that decade, on your board ("The Cosmic Fool"):
.... As you know, I was a follower of your Lazaris show for the
better part of twelve years. I was there throughout the 1990's,
"the most monumental decade" when we "worked" under the
tutelage, guidance, and advice of Lazaris to become "map maker"
"magicians" who would have the skills and tools to create a
safe world and a "virgin future".
I was in attendence at the 1999 culminating weekend and again
at the Millennium intensive, and a member of the "Jach and
Lazaris Forum" where we were assured that we had made it
through, we had mitigated a world crisis, we had saved the
world from World War III with our Kosovo grid work, in which
I participated.
"Lazaris" has said a lot of other things, made a lot of
promises, and encouraged a particular path of action which is
defined as "responsible". We have been given a definition of a
"spiritual adult", as one who is prepared and able to respond
to the world around us in a magical and powerful way. We have
been told that we are a part of an elite group on the Earth, a
group with more access via "Lazaris" to vital information and
techniques which will provide protection for the planet, and
usher in a new world of magic and miracles. ....
Twelve years of esoteric poppycock and expensive wizard's hats.
Yikes.
We feel your pain, Katie. Cults are hell. But ACIM has nothing
whatsoever to do with your very costly and humiliating choice to
leap pell mell into a level of folly that reading a book just
doesn't afford.
There are no fanatics here, but you. Just a group of folks
impressed by what a book has to say about love and fear, waking
and slumber, forgiveness and grievance ...
Most Course students I've ever met can't begin to relate to
zealoutry or extremism. Have you noticed that you have embraced
both, to the exclusion of measured, rational exploration of
perspectives --for almost 20 years?
From devotee to fascist cynic, overnight, is simply trading one
ideology for another -- and retaining both your fear of admitting
that you don't KNOW what is true, and your impatience with the
rational process of reality-testing. Retaining your insistence
that whatever YOU think is HOW IT IS ... that Katie has the
inside scoop (for sure, this time).
Cynicism is just another kick you're on, Katie. Healthy
skepticism and measured reality-testing serves the rest of us
quite nicely. As a lifelong agnostic, I remained unable to use
the word "God" or "Jesus" in a sentence until after 10 years! of
reading and testing this Course. And when Course students lose
interest or incentive, we shelve the book --or give it away. We
pick them up again for 10 bucks used, when interest returns.
I don't know a dozen people who spend as much time with the
Course, weekly, as you devote to this list.
The -rational- world is not beating a path to Lazaris & co,
Katie, and no one's bought the polar opposite you've devised --
your radical spiritual pessimism. Not here, or on your site. In
fact, it's a bust. And the only way you can even manage anyone's
attention, anymore, is to carve your pain into subject line
insults, like a child. Despite every underhanded ploy you've come
up with, you continue to fade into dreaded obscurity, as wacky
background noise on your single remaining internet venue. You're
the queen of irrelevance. Especially now, having squandered your
credibility on this position as wrecklessly as you threw money at
Lazaris. Nobody's interested in viewing the world through Katie-
colored glasses -- least of all, Course students.
You're as isolated in a wacky fringe position now, as you were as
a Lazaris devotee. Only now you've dispensed with tolerance and
other conventions of civility, and embraced militant bigotry,
blackheartedly. What is your problem, do you suppose, with
allowing adults to proceed with rational conversation, without
making a spectacle of your emotional and psychological immaturity
through fascist extremist methods ?
Time to grow up, Katie, and quit pretending that you alone KNOW
what's real and who's conning who. You're as confused as ever,
but now you're militantly confused, as our frenzied Dipshit Diva.
Healthy skepticism might be worth exploring, as an alternative to
militant cynicism. And equitability among adults could be a
healthy concept for you to pay other than lip service to. Either
one could pull you away from that radical ledge you've been
occupying for 20 years.
Here is a list of FACTNET's recommended cult experts and exit
counselors. Help is available for those with prolonged emotional
arrest, after cult departure. Show some courage, Katie, and seek
help. It beats pigheaded bravado and soapbox self-compromise.
http://www.factnet.org/cris_xpt.htm
You are a textbook case of one whose trust in anything beyond
themselves has been compromised by cult betrayal. And you are
stuck, imo, in maladaptive emotional arrest -- replaying your
pain, grief and anger endlessly, as though it was ACIM that did
upended your world, so.
Get some recovery under your belt, and you could take your show
on the road, as spirituality's Don Rickles. "Dawn of the New Age"
Seriously. You're good. You're just kind of messed up, right now.
One day your audience could actually extend beyond the 100 or
so folks who still bother to open your messages -- to ponder your
obsessive ignorance. (Who else besides Course *students* do you
suppose even follow this n.g.?)
And when you get into recovery, DON'T tell anyone you're addicted
to insulting. Remember: You want to convince them that you CAN
insult responsibly, one day. ;)
Easy does it, kiddo
