and now it's Q-tip, uh, Tupac. People blame music not because
it's at fault, but to file a civil suit and make money. Ever
notice that nobody sues small independent label groups that
openly advocate suicide, drugs, and murder?

At my most "heavy metal" in the 1980s, I wouldn't listen to
Mercyful Fate, and they were tame compared to Mayhem.
Why aren't the Back Door Boys, Mariah Carey, Whitney Houston,
or NSync ever blamed? Because those groups drive people to
suicide instead of killing? If it's money you're after, they
have plenty.

The actual reason was missed in my estimation. First there is the religous
aspect, but the mental illness exhibited is rather profound. It is the
exceedingly rare case that a person kills without some prior indications
that something is seriously wrong. No familt member will admit it but the
evidence was there.
