Here's what I can't figure out: Is Saddam Hussein playing ball with
his captors or not?
Depends on what your favorite news outlet is.
Here's the problem. Maybe 11 or 12 people in the military chain of
command know what is actually happening with America's newest captive,
and most of them aren't blabbing to reporters. So that leaves
journalists with only a handful of sources--or, more likely, sources
who don't have first-hand knowledge of Hussein's debriefing but are
passing on what they've heard from their own sources.
