I accidentally turned my car radio to "Praise FM" this past weekend. I
may never listen to another station! I almost drove off the road from
laughing so hard. Here is a sample lyric:

When there are male vocalists it is basically gay porn. When the women
sing they are usually returning to Jesus after being unfaithful, and
now they're going to give him "everything" if he'll forgive them.
And in one song they even managed to incorporate the phrase "field of
expertise" into the lyrics.

Sounds like someone is using Eric Cartman's Christian rock
music lyrics. In one episode of "South Park" where Cartman
formed a Christian rock group with Token and Butters, all
Cartman did to get his songs was to replace any names in
rock songs with Jeeesus. Some of the songs were really
raunchy. But, when a minister pointed out that the songs
made it sound as though Cartman was in love with Jesus,
rather than just loving him, Cartman went into one of his
tantrums and scared the minister away.

I've only seen the last part of that episode, I always wondered what
led to Carman being even fatter and joining Kathy Lee Gifford onstage.
That's the same episode, right? As a cool aside, my new girlfriend's
nephew is a writer for South Park. He is the son of a rabid
Mormon/healer woman.

Reminds me of the Peter, Paul, and Mary TV show where the writer of "Puff,
the magic Dragon" relates how people claimed it was about drugs.
Having an open mind he explored the idea and realized all music was about
drugs.
He then sang
Oh say can you "C" (C for cocaine!)
by the dawns early light (what you do after a night of drug use, you light
up)
etc, etc.
