Christianity Continues to Decline in America |
http://www.santacruzsentinel.com/archive/2005/April/02/style/stories/01style
..htm
The present trend has Christians becoming the minority in America within
four decades.
Also significant, the largest percentage change was from organized religion
to "none at all".

How can you arbitrarily decide not to believe something? That's

That is all a-theist means. Non-god-believer. We do not deny god
any more than you deny Santa Claus.
Nope - an atheist denies.
Liar. There is nothing to deny, as you have not supplied valid proof
there is a god.
Nope, if you are merely unsure based on the evidence available, you
are an agnostic. If you deny, then you are an atheist.
There is no evidence and your opinions don't count as such.

Not believing in a god is how you and I started life. Nobody yet has
given me any reason to start believing. The default is not to alter
the status quo. Leastways that the correct way for a chair holder

Christians make things hot for atheists all over the country. It is

I find a simularity with the word "liberal" Neocons (and some
republicans) have succeeded at turning that word into a dirty word,
only using it as an accusation, never as a philosophical, political
descriptor.

When I get done, my dog will be better than you duke. Why? The dog won't
make up lies. My dog comes to me and tells me that it pissed or crapped on
the floor. It tells me that it is sorry and not to be mad.
If you were a talking dog that i just spent 3 years teaching to talk and
you crapped on the floor, I know you would look around and say "No that
isn't my crap. I am just explainng how it presents itself." You know what
I would do then duke? I would take out my shotgun and blow your fucking
head clean off. Pray you never turn into a talking dog that I meet. Why?
Because the very first dog that cmes along and introduces itself to me as
"duke" will get it's fucking head blown clean off.
Look at that! You made me swear! You should be ashamed of yourself. You
make me sick. I wish I had something to eat so I could vomit. You are

Duke, how many times a day to you proclaim "God is love"? We atheists know
that is a lie. In fact, parsed as "God is" is a lie, since nobody can find
evidence that "god" is anything. And if "God is love", there would not be
evil, famine, poverty, acne, AIDS, war, hatred, birth defects, Michael

water on the knee, sandtraps, inflation, and all the other troubles that
persistantly force their way into the lifestyles of every human being the

Why not? By your definition, God should bless abortion.
The thing you keep overlooking is the free will that God gave us. In order for
us to be created in his likeness and image (but not a God), he gave us a free
will - to elect to follow him or to elect to reject him. These events he allows
to bring out our compassion and love - remember his new commandment to love one
another as he loves us - John 13:34.
TerriS and the Holy Father are excellent examples. The love brought out the
last few weeks is overwhelming. This love is from the heart, not the
pocketbook.

Duke is a sick person.
First he lies to others and to himself. What he does next is the
interesting yet pathological part; He actually believes those lies to
resolve the conflict in his mind.
I have seen this sort of behaviour before and if left untreated it can
result in a total mental breakdown similar to what happened to Norman Bates
in the story "Psycho". All it takes is something to come along that he
must lie about and yet the truth will be blatent and obvious to all
including "duke"/Norman. If it is a person that is the conflict then
Norman/"duke" will resolve it by murdering that person. Remember that he
must resolve the conflict and that is the only way that he can.
In duke's case the conflit stems from his religion. I suspect that his
mother or father is a staunch Christian and is actually sick themselves but
in a different way. The parents have some sort of issue with sexual
repressions or guilts and they have transferred this to duke. Abuse is
quite common in cases like this. It will take a lot to have duke be a
normal and well adjusted person but the number of successfull reversals are
few and far between.
I fully expect him to confront these truths by denying them, but remember
he *has* to deny them somehow. If he does not respond then that means that
he will have marked the posting as read. He will resolve that issue by
lying to himself that he actually did not read it. The other possibilty is
that "duke2" will come out and answer for him. If that happens then you
can add schitzophrenia to his list of issues.
I really do feel sorry for duke. Poor *****.

in the story "Psycho".
Now there's a real life experience - said bubba has to turn to a "movie" to
express himself.
I really do feel sorry for duke. Poor *****.

Don't feel sorry for me. I am totally happy with my situation.
Remember my words when you hang there with the white hot tips of the

Did you rub your Johnson as you typed the above left handed?
Some feat.

Please, GlennGlenn, apologise to Earl for that statement.

Duke has already admitted he can't get a woodie.
Which is probably another lie. Unless he has a medical condition to
prevent it, he gets one whether he realizes it or not. Every healthy male
gets an erection as some point in time during sleep. They test for sexual
impotence that way.
What he likely means is that he can't get one lest he ***** off his god and
go to hell. Catholics are great for brainwashing you that sex is dirty and
filthy. Repugnant even.
duke lies again I'll bet.

The key word being 'healthy'. You also forget age a, 'terrible decayer
of your whoreson'* body. When you get over 60 you will find things
don't work as well as they used to sadly.

Duke likes the idea of seeing some guys ***** get singed. Do you like seeing
a man's ***** duke? Does it turn you on?
This is not the first time he mentioned something about tickling a guys
*****.
I think he is homo-repressed. A vivid example is the former military guy
in "American Beauty". Somehow I think duke has been lying to himself and
others for so long about him homosexuality that it is causing hm to be
further screwed in the head.
Maybe I should amend my original diagnosis with an entry of homosexual
repressions and guilt. Sadly he will never admit the truth. Not here on
the newsgroup anyway. The only truth he knows is what *he* determines is
the truth, not anything that has basis in fact.
I think he finds those bible tracs and pictures of guys asses titillating.
In other words the pictures are homo-erotic for him.
I know a guy that denied his homosexuality for years. He tried religion,
marriage, exorcism, and even concieved a child and now he is divorcing his
wife because he cannot continue to deny his sexual orientation. It is all
rather sad.

No, but you better get used to the idea. It's your choice to date.

It's sort of like atheism. You can't prove it.

Atheism is the lack of belief in gods. Proof is not required, only
skepticism.
