Christianity Is The Branch Of Judaism That Accepts Jesus As The Christ |
Trinitarian Is The Branch of Christianity that Follow Paul's
DOXOLOGY which believes in the Father, the Son and The Holy Spirit
in three persons
as understood by the Framers of the Creed of Nicea Constantinople.
Islam is the branch of Christianity that opposes Paul's view
of God in three persons and advocates a strict adherence
to Moses Law, Law that Paul abolished. In that sense Islam
is the reversal of Paul's Christianity that is to say
Catholicism or Trinitarian.
Work for hire:
A skillful writer is needed to make a powerful case for
Christianity in both of its branches: Catholicism and Islam.

Isaiah 7:14 (New International Version)
14 Therefore the Lord himself will give you [a] a sign: The virgin will be
with
child and will give birth to a son, and [b] will call him Immanuel.
The translation stinks
Mainly that "his name shall be called" and "he will be named" don't
mean the same thing. Jesus' name wasn't called Immanuel.
"and she will call his name..." is exact.
And Mary called her son's name Yeshua, not Emmanuel.
But what's the difference here?
How pedantic can you get?
Calling someone's name means literally naming them that. It's not
pedantic - Jesus wasn't named Emmanuel.

You would think that the difference in names might be a clue, but they

The Whole New Testament is a report on some polemic:
Polemic between Jesus and the Jewish religious establishment.
Then After resurrection, the same polemic shift to the Apostles
and the Jewish establishment.
The points the Apostles made before the nation of Israel was that
Moses foretold Christ/Messiah and Jesus was that Christ.
There is no debate about Emmanuel at this point. So Immanuel
is IRRELEVANT
Then another polemic arose between the believers in Jesus as Christ.
What to do with Moses Law.
Paul said circumcision had ended. Meaning Moses Law was irrelevant.
The party of the pharisees believers in Jesus as Christ said Christ/
Messiah
did ended Moses Law, therefore the Gentiles must submit to
circumcision
and obey Moses costum.
The Bible must be read in context of thoses polemic.
So If someone proclaimed in the Qur'an at Mecca that CIRCUMCISION is
a covenant between Abraham, his biological children and God
and that, that covenant would never end... We know that it is
the same tired argument that prompted the COUNCIL
of Jerusalem, the same tired argument against Paul.
WE SEE RIGHT THROUGH.
WHAT WAS NEW IN MECCA WERE THREE WORDS:
Mohammad, the Qur'an and Islam.
ISLAM IS A BRANCH OF CHRISTIANITY WHICH SET OUT
TO RESTORE THE SIMPLICITY OF THE OLD CHRISTIANITY
BEFORE PAUL, AND BEFORE THE TRINITY

Not essentially. Jesus is the Anglicization of Yeshua. So is Joshua.
It's the same name but, just as they had to put their own spin on the
religions of others (what's the little cap the Pope wears? A red
yarmulke?), they had to translate Jesus' name to something not as
common as "Joe" would be today.

The word Immanuel/Emmanuel means, "God with us." It conveys the idea of
God
come down in the flesh, mingling alongside mankind, subject to their
brutality,
while extending his love in brining their redemption.
And "Isaac" means anyone who hears you will laugh at you.

What "after the fact"?
The scriptures that ended up in the NT were written by people who,
*after the fact* of the old scriptures being written, knew which old
prophesies they could craft their stories to match. This made it
likely that even more *after the fact* it was just a matter of calling
the old and new scriptures that matched the best, and matched the
predominant dogma of the 4th century, the OT and NT of the Bible, and
rejecting other scriptures that didn't fit. Then it was all called
God's word, in spite of having prophesies that had fallen flat and
needed to be "interpreted".

Almost. I only question the "first hand experience". Does anyone with
"first hand experience" actually have experience? This could be proven
with a tape recorder, video recorder or camera. Or a credible eye-witness
account with a name, and who can be interviewed. I have never seen or
heard of any "first hand experience" evidence myself.
Got any?

Because it isn't. This is Christian delusional thinking.
Christianity is the most irrational religion on the planet. It
systematically encourages delusional thinking. The passages cited in
Isaiah are vague enough to accomodate virtually any notion of a
leader, helper, prophet, inspired thinker, self-sacrificiing
inidividual etc. Only schizophrenic Christians see it as more than
that. Ask a Jewish Rabbi if the Tanach -- the old testament --
predicts the coming of Jesus. He'll laugh in your face.

coming of Christ?
There is a difference that you need to know in order
to qualify for my work.
No one had ever said that the Tanach predicts
the coming of Jesus, but instead the coming of the
Messiah which is translated in Greek as Christ.
The Apostles based on the event in Jerusalem
and the death of resurrection of Jesus made
the point to the Children of Israel
that Jesus filled the description of the Messiah
that is to say Christ, description
found in the Torah of Moses and the rest of the prophets.

Did you mean to say the coming of Jesus or the
coming of Christ?
There is a difference that you need to know in order
to qualify for my work.
No one had ever said that the Tanach predicts
the coming of Jesus, but instead the coming of the
Messiah which is translated in Greek as Christ.
The Apostles based on the event in Jerusalem

If you just mean Jesus was an important prophet, Muslims will agree

What are you talking about?
My point was that Muslims are Christians
as the bible defines the word Christian
as the followers of Jesus as the Christ.
and since we found the following verse in
the Muslims' book, then Muslims are followers
of Christ.
"Say O God , we follow the Messenger/Christ
the Prophet of the Gentiles, that we found described

At this point we are not debating Christology yet.
I am asuming that you know that Christology deals
with the nature of Christ.
Again what is your point? You seem to have none

The Bible defines Christian as the one who follow Christ
implying that he has already believed that Jesus was the Christ
foretold in the Torah of Moses. This is what the Muslims believe as
well.

to him. 16 For this is what you asked of the LORD your God at Horeb on
the day of the assembly when you said, "Let us not hear the voice of
the LORD our God nor see this great fire anymore, or we will die."

then, and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped out, that times
of refreshing may come from the Lord, 20and that he may send the
Christ, who has been appointed for you-even Jesus. 21He must remain in
heaven until the time comes for God to restore everything, as he
promised long ago through his holy prophets. 22For Moses said, 'The

does not listen to him will be completely cut off from among his

our fathers; and he received living words to pass on to us... Acts
7:37
51"You stiff-necked people, with uncircumcised hearts and ears! You
are just like your fathers: You always resist the Holy Spirit!
52Was there ever a prophet your fathers did not persecute?
They even killed those who predicted the coming of the Righteous One.
And now you have betrayed and murdered him-
53you who have received the law that was put into effect through
angels but have not obeyed it. Act 7:51-53
PAUL
The Glory of the New Covenant
6He has made us competent as ministers of a new covenant-
not of the letter but of the Spirit; for the letter kills, but the
Spirit gives life.
7Now if the ministry that brought death, which was engraved in letters
on stone, came with glory, so that the Israelites could not look
steadily at the face of Moses because of its glory, fading though it
was,
8will not the ministry of the Spirit be even more glorious?
9If the ministry that condemns men is glorious, how much more
glorious
is the ministry that brings righteousness!
10For what was glorious has no glory now in comparison with the
surpassing glory.
11And if what was fading away came with glory, how much greater is
the glory of that which lasts!
12Therefore, since we have such a hope, we are very bold.
13We are not like Moses, who would put a veil over his face to keep
the Israelites from gazing at it while the radiance was fading away.
14But their minds were made dull, for to this day the same veil
remains when the old covenant is read. It has not been removed,
because only in Christ is it taken away.
15Even to this day when Moses is read, a veil covers their hearts.
16But whenever anyone turns to the Lord, the veil is taken away.
17Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is,
there is freedom.
18And we, who with unveiled faces all reflect[a]
the Lord's glory, are being transformed into his likeness with ever-
increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit.
THE QUR'AN
Such is the utterance of those who go stray
God word doesn't change.

"We agree." He said: "Then bear witness, and I am with you among the

prophet like me from your own people.'[h] 38He was in the assembly in
the desert, with the angel who spoke to him on Mount Sinai, and with
our fathers; and he received living words to pass on to us... Acts
Say people of the Book!
commit no excesses in your religion:
Norsay of God nothing but truth.
Al-Massih/Christ, Jesus the Son of Mary
was a Messenger of God, and His
Word, which He casted in Mary,
and a Spirit proceeding from Him
So believe in God and His Messengers,
Say not Three: desist it will
be better for you for God is one.
Glory be to Him for far exalted
is He above having a Son. To
Him belong all things in heaven and on
earth. And enough is
God as a disposer of affairs. Qur'an 4:171
Behold! Allah took the covenant of the prophets, saying: "I give you a
Book and Wisdom; then comes to you a messenger/Christ, confirming what
is with you; do ye believe in him and render him help." Allah said:
"Do ye agree, and take this my Covenant as binding on you?" They said:
"We agree." He said: "Then bear witness, and I am with you among the
witnesses."
Those who turn their back after this are perverted transgressors. 3:81
Al-Massih/Christ is a prophet. Other prophets preceded Him... Qur'an
Say O God we follow Al-Messih/Christ, the prophet of the=AD=AD
gentiles, that we found described in the Torah/Deut 18:15 and the
Gospel. 7:157

You're playing word games. You are trying to argue that a messenger
of God must necessarily be "the anointed one". Muslims acknowledge
Jesus as one of many messengers of God, a prophet, nothing more. And
not the greatest prophet.
