And notice that we never really got to see much of the 'to and fro'. What we
got was basically a 're-cap' of the debate.
Cameron boasted that he could prove the existence of 'God' purely on a
'scientific' basis. He couldn't. He had to resort to the bible and 'faith'
as his 'proof'. Gee, now *that's* an novel concept. And guess what? No
living 'God' came crawling out of the debate. Maybe the 'God' who created
'God' has put 'God' away in his toy-box for the time being. That would
explain why the theists cannot shine a spotlight on their living 'God' or
drag him out in the open for everyone to see or at least somehow 'detect',
don't you think?
And what was that bit about imaginary hybrid creatures Cameron's graphic
design people came up with to refute evolution with? Couldn't ABC switched
to a picture of a living 'Liger' at that point in time? And what does
evolutionary science have to do with whether a 'God' exists or not? Either
there is one or there isn't. And since not one human being who has ever
breathed life on planet earth has been able to produce undeniable,
unassailable evidence of this undetectable 'God', we can assume none exists.
How many centuries does it take to prove that a 'God', so apparently evident
to a lot of folks, actually exists. I mean, c'mon. What kind of new-fangled,
doo-hickey, scientific piece of detection gear is it going to take to
'detect' this 'God'? And if one is going to argue that it is only through
'spiritual' means that he can be 'detected', why is it that its the *only*
way he can be detected? Can't belch or 'poot' in English?
When someone is incapable of being swayed by *any* amount of contrary
evidence, what is the point of having a 'debate'?
