Ignoring the Real Obscenities

Had lunch last week with an old friend, a career agent with the
Federal Bureau of Investigation.
He’s considering early retirement because he just can’t handle what’s
happening to his agency, the federal law enforcement apparatus and the
country.
"I didn’t sign on for this," he said.
"The bureau has gone to hell in a hand basket."
He tells a disturbing story of an agency ripped apart internally by
turf battles, emasculated by an attorney general who believes
Constitutional rights get in the way of a poorly-managed war on terror
and an administration whose focus is marginal at best.
"Our number one priority in law enforcement is supposed to be fighting
terrorism," he says.
"So what’s the latest initiative by Justice and the bureau? We’ve
declared war on pornography."
That’s right.
At a time when the focus of every federal law enforcement agent is
supposed to be keeping this country safe from terrorists, attorney
general Alberto Gonzales is diverting time, agent and resources into a
war on dirty books and movies.
Not child pornography mind you but the kind of titillation aimed at
consenting adults who, the last time we checked, are supposed to be
free to do what they want in the privacy of their homes.
According to a job posting that went up at the FBI’s national
headquarters and in all 56 field offices, the bureau plans to assign
eight field agents plus a supervisor and "all necessary resources" to
a porn war that the posting calls "one of the top priorities" of AG
Gonzales and FBI Director Robert Mueller.
Agents joke about the posting and make comments like "I already gave
at home" or "we have met the enemy and he is us" but the gallows humor
does little to mask a growing morale problem within the bureau.
My friend shook his head:
"We’re supposed to be taking down people who want to destroy this
country and Alberto wants to turn us into a tittie squad?"
The "T&A Squad," as it is known among agents, got its start under
former attorney general John Ashcroft, a bible-thumping
anti-pornography zealot who tried to prosecute a Missouri couple for
selling a sex education video for adults.
Ashcroft’s case was so laughable it took a jury of mostly middle-aged
women less than 45 minutes to acquit the couple.
The judge lectured the Justice Department for wasting the legal
system’s time with such a "frivolous case."
But Gonzales, armed with a mandate from the rabid right-wingers who
control Congress and the White House, plans to push forward in a quest
to rid the world of dirty movies and other sexy stuff.
Ironically, such a move could target some of the GOP’s major
supporters -- big business and conservative ideologues like Rupert
Murdoch, owner of the conservative pseudo-journalistic Fox News
Network.
Murdoch and General Motors, for example, are part-owners of DirecTV,
the satellite broadcasting network that delivers explicit sexual
programming to customers.
DirecTV offers three channels of XXX-rated movies from Spice Networks,
owned by Playboy Enterprises, along with Playboy’s own channel which
recently began offering hard-core sexual programming.
In fact, hard-core programming is such big business that Time-Warner
owns a piece and hotel chains like Hilton, Sheraton, Hyatt and even
Mormon-based Marriott offers the sexy material to guests as a "valued
added" service.
The FBI’s recruiting memo says the bureau is going after
“manufacturers and purveyors" of pornography.
Does this mean they plan to arrest Rupert Murdoch and the CEO of
General Motors?
Will J.W. "Bill" Marriott, Jr., chairman and CEO of Marriott
International get tossed into the slammer?
Somehow I doubt it.
General Motors executives and their political action committee gave
more than $2.5 million to Republican Party causes last year.
Marriott is a major player in GOP circles.
When fatcat donors put out that kind of money, politicians are more
than willing to hand out the K-Y Jelly, drop their pants, grab their
ankles, close their eyes and say "please, sir, may I have some more?"
That is the real obscenity in today’s America.

Satan got cyber-slammed this week when Broomleigh Baptist hackers raided
over 300 of Britain's most explicit "special interest" pornography
websites. 81-year-old Helen Floribunda, group leader for the 17 hackers
recruited for the "Scat and Golden Shower" team, recounted: "With the
Sword of Christ, my 15-year-old grandson Gil would break into a site and
then the rest of us would do the Lord's work on their possessed server."
Mrs. Floribunda's team would then transfer usernames, passwords and all
credit card information to optical disks. "We would then download all
those nasty pictures – Lord knows you wouldn't believe some of what we
saw! – and place pictures of Bibles over the naughty parts – there was
some folks that needed a whole shelf of Good Books – add some words of
Scripture and upload them back onto the demon's server before anyone knew
what hit them."
For the first time ever, decent Christians were able to get into the most
notoriously pornographic sites and bring Christ's Good News to pictures
of shocking depravity. Mrs. Florence Jenkins, 63, team captain of the
"Animal Husbandry" brigade crowed: "Next time some unchristian pervert
goes looking for a GIF of a donkey doing what he oughtn't, the words of
our Precious Savior will flash across his screen and lead him out of
darkness. Jesus will touch him before he can even touch himself."
A separate room was set up for the Ladies of Broomleigh to run through
the subscriber lists and credit card information. Each subscriber
received a phone call to their home with a heartfelt rebuke and a £29.95
recurring charge for Jesus. "If they can afford to waste that kind of
money on trash not fit for human eyes," said volunteer-hacker Mrs.
Pauline Germann, 57, "they can certainly afford to help us with some new
slate tiles for the middle-school roof." It is worth noting that a
careful review of the downloaded subscriber lists to pinkystinky.com,
Niggapussy.com and ClittyTorture.Com led to the immediate expulsion of 48
church members and the firing of Pastor's secretary, Mrs. Hawthorne.
The captain of the "Thai Boys" team reported that over 20 of the
raunchiest adult websites that were hacked where thrown offline – to the
cheers of Christians gathered around 142 monitors set up in Broomleigh's
Christian Convention Centre. "Christians were jamming up the lines with
so much network traffic downloading images, it blew out 10 servers,"
Pastor ***** Foot noted with pride. "I tell, you we was hopping for Jesus
when each one came crashing down! Praise the Lord."
Several of the teenage boys recruited because of their computer expertise
disclosed in vivid detail the startling facts about what they had
witnessed as soon as they managed to break through firewalls and security
coding. "Gosh, unsaved folks are like really into bestiality and stuff,"
Jerry Jordon, 16, said. "They call it farm sex just to make it sound like
it might be 'OK' but it was amazing." One hacker reported that he had
viewed over 10,000 photos in almost 15 hours of continuous downloadings.
"I really lost count after downloading 100 series of pics. I had to empty
the web cache ten times in order to keep doing the Lord's work," he said.
"We were supposed to download the images and modify them with the good
news that everyone who doesn't believe in Jesus is going to hell, but I
just kept thinking to myself, 'if God could allow me to permanently
remove these pictures from the internet and store them on my hard drive,
nobody would ever be able to see them, and I could eventually delete them
when I was sure I had enough."
Church pastors and deacons around the country were amazed at how
professional and effective the Broomleigh Baptist "Wake Up Britain"
campaign had been. "It was nice to see True Christians take a stand for
morality and decency," said Reverend Jerry Falwell during his guest spot
as a referee on the Jerry Springer Show. "And I certainly appreciated the
list of Credit Card numbers that the Lord called me to look to as an
eager well for thirsty tithes. It comforts me to know that every pound
that goes to my ministry will be one less pound some poor lost soul will
have to spend on the Devil's filth."
"This was a class act operation," said Brother Bob Brown. "I had a pastor
friend of mine in Des Moines tell me that one gentleman in his
congregation had even organized the photos and videos into neat little
folders with the names of each sin on top." There are reports coming in
from all over that church-goers are sending millions of photos through e-
mail and posting them in newsgroups just to give fellow brothers and
sisters the upper hand in dismantling Satan's plans.
"If one person looking for pornographic pictures is confronted with the
message of Christ and gets saved, the Bible tells us that angels in
heaven will rejoice," said Pastor ***** Foot. "I know of at least 1,200
instances where our righteous computer whizzes replaced the pornographic
image of bare, naked breasts with the wholesome image of Jesus Christ
writhing and bleeding on a cross. Praise!"
Our Christian hackers permanently plastered this Godly button on over
10,000 adult websites!

Do you really think that that sort of violent behaviour
attracts people to God? You assume it does, but don't
appear to realise what hatred for the Bible and the very
name 'Christian' that it generates, driving people even
more firmly away from God.
What do you think you look like, other than aggressors
interfering with the free will of people? Don't you
realise that when they see the bible suddenly pushed
into their faces in that way that their reaction will
be utter fury and hatred against that detestable book,
and all Christians connected with it, which your
interfering aggression has made detestable to them?

Furthermore, isn't hacking illegal? Since when does religious ethics go
above the law? Last time I checked it didn't.
Evil threat of pornography.... intriguing, last time i checked
pornstars weren't threatening to convert me, blow me away (with weapons
:D) or force their simple minded rules on the rest of the secular
community....
