Churchgoing may cause cancer
From correspondents in Paris
November 22, 2004
CHURCHGOING may be good for the soul but it could also be dangerous
for the lungs, according to a study in the specialist European
Respiratory Journal.
University of Maastricht researcher Theo de Kok and colleagues
measured levels of fine particulates in the air of a small chapel and
a local basilica after experiments in which they burned candles for
nine hours and simulated a service in which incense was burned.
Fine particulate matter - defined as solid particles with a diameter
of 10 microns or less - is a devil among air pollutants.

No, that's wrong. "medi" refers to the amount of evilness in the
church at that time. Unfortunately, over time, standards have slipped,
and thus we see the unfortunate state that the church is in today.

Speaking from my own experience, European churches have absolutely
***** poor ventilation. I'm not surprised that air tests found
shitloads of suspended particles and then there is the high European
level of background particle levels
Not that faggy arse needs to worry, the only time he goes near a
church is when he rides his skateboard down the street.

Seventh day adventist becuase of their tendancy towards vegetarianism
have a high intake of vegetable oils as opposed to healthy saturated
animal fats. Most vegetable oils becuase they have cis double bonds
(and are therefore unsaturated) are vulnerable to oxidative damage
during storage (or are damaged duing processing) and this causes an
considerable increase in risks of bowel cancer etc.
http://www.westonaprice.org/myths_truths/myths_truths_beef.html
"In 1975, Rowland Philips compared Seventh-Day Adventists physicians,
who do not eat meat, with non-Seventh Day Adventist physicians, and
found that the vegetarian doctors had higher rates of gastrointestinal
and colon-rectal cancer deaths.10 National Cancer Institute data show
that Argentina, with very high levels of beef consumption, has
significantly lower rates of colon cancer than other western countries
where beef consumption is considerably lower.11 A 1997 study published
in the International Journal of Cancer found that increased risk of
colon and rectal cancer was positively associated with consumption of
bread, cereal dishes, potatoes, cakes, desserts and refined sugars,
but not with eggs or meat.12 And a 1978 study published in the Journal
of the National Cancer Institute found no greater risk of colon
cancer, regardless of the amounts of beef or other meats ingested.13
The study also found that those who ate plenty of cruciferous
vegetables, such as cabbage, Brussels sprouts and broccoli, had lower
rates of colon cancer. So just because it's all right to eat beef
doesn't mean you shouldn't eat your broccoli.
Actually, we know one of the mechanisms whereby colon cancer is
initiated, and it does not involve meat per se. Colon cancer occurs
when high levels of dietary vegetable oils and hydrogenated fats,
along with certain carcinogens, are acted on by certain enzymes in the
cells lining the colon, leading to tumor formation.14 This explains
the fact that in industrialized countries, where there are many
carcinogens in the diet and where consumption of vegetable oils and
carcinogens is high, some studies have correlated meat-eating with
colon cancer; but in traditional societies, where vegetable oils are
absent and the food is free of additives, meat-eating is not
associated with cancer."

It is a surprising fact that the very first soy dairy was not even
founded in Asia, but northwest of Paris in 1910.
Soy milk is a a seventh day adventist scam. Add to that sugary high
glycemic breakfast cereals that promite obesisty.
Religion has no place in science or health.
